13.01.2022 Hi everyone, the secret is out and now official as of today!! Mrs Mc has been nominated as one of 4 finalists in Australia for the Telstra Aria Music Teacher of the Year Award! So exciting! The Award is decided by public vote and presented at the Aria Award ceremony in Sydney on 25 November. As all of you have had some part to play at Virginia in the music program, it is really OUR ARIA!! So, as the only Queenslander, I am in need of help to get the word out to everyone an...d generate some mass voting! 05.01.2022 Our Virginia State School P & C Annual General Meeting is being held on Wednesday 29 July at 6:30 pm in the Hall. Due to current restrictions and operation guidelines we can only have 20 adults physically attend. If you wish to attend please register by emailing [email protected] with the names of those attending. It will be a first in first serve basis though current P&C executives will be attending along with the Principal and Deputy Principal. For those that cannot attend or do not make it on the registration list the meeting will also be conducted through Zoom. This information has been sent out via a newsflash.

In recognition of the outstanding efforts of school staff during the COVID-19 pandemic, the last two days of the school year, Thursday 10 and Friday 11 have been declared student free days by the department.
