Copy and paste that list into the body of an e-mail or message with the subject.. HELP! (If you wrote your list with pen and paper, take a photo and send that instead!) 09.01.2022 . Getting personal behind my WHY! Save this for later ... I heard this quote for the first time recently and it hit me right to the core! Growing up in a household witnessing a parent who was fixated on providing a certain lifestyle for their family, ended up being consumed by it. Spending your childhood always looking out for them during assembly leading up to the performance or awards, always hoping that a friends parent would swoop you under their wing at mothers/fathers day events at school so you weren't that child colouring in while other kids spent time with their parents, never having your parent on the sideline during weekend sporting games cheering you on... Now I have children and a business of my own, I always try to stay very mindful of being fully present during their waking hours as much as physically possible! (Not that I am perfect parent by any means!) I see my children when they accomplish something, they look straight across a crowded room to see if Im watching, waiting for my praise and celebration! With that being said, being on the other side of the fence these days I can definitely sympathise with parents who are slogging it away, putting in the long days and sacrificing special moments because they only want the best for their family! THIS.. IS.. MY.. WHY! Your friends, your relatives, your partner, your children... and YOU! You don't have to miss every special moment, put yourself back into the present moments! We already put our children, our husbands, our housework, our friends, our family (just to name a few) in front of ourselves... it's about time we take the guilt out of seeking some help and delegating some of these hats we wear to someone else so we can gain a bit more flexibility back! Remember those distant pre-children days when you felt like you could juggle the world? Let's get that feeling back and slay this current season in our life of #wifemumboss Did recently outsource a monthly cleaner for 2hrs! So that once a month while the kids are at daycare and I'm working on client projects, every room in my house is clean AT THE SAME TIME! Not just in sections on particular days.. ya feel me? 04.01.2022 There are 2 types of people in this world! Let me know below which one you are! ... Type A Emails actioned and filed daily, always organised & on top of their inbox. Type B Hundreds or thousands of emails in their inbox dating 2-3 years ago, cant remember whats been actioned or whats outstanding. Constantly getting phone calls following up emails that are yet to be actioned or responded to. Completely missing emails that have found their way to the junk folder which go unchecked. The mental clarity, load off the shoulders & positive towards your emails from having an up to date inbox is definitely something that everyone should achieve considering in this day & age, almost everything is digital!
