01.01.2022 Lodging a partner or fiance visa will not be as simple as just filling the form and attaching docs anymore. Sponsors will be asked to fill separate sponsorship assessment form and they will require approval before any visa application is made. What this means is that if your visa was expiring and you were planning to lodge a 820 onshore , you can no longer do so unless your sponsor has been cleared.
