24.01.2022 Is your subdivision fibre ready? New lots created through subdivision under the Planning and Development Act 2005 are to be provided with suitable telecommunications infrastructure. This Position Statement provides guidance on the Western Australian Planning Commission’s (WAPC) requirements for telecommunications infrastructure provision when land is subdivided for residential, commercial and industrial purposes. ... It has always been a norm here at Vision Surveys Consulting to organise telecommunications section anyway as part of the subdivisions we manage to eliminate issues arise when the new owners start their build. But the reality is that many opt not to do so as it is not required as part of the WAPC Conditional approval. This will start changing soon and you will start to notice telecommunications conditions soon as part of your new subdivision applications. 12.01.2022 Our Directors Craig Miller and Jay Sidhu x Vision Surveys Consulting had the pleasure to hear Premier Mark McGowan speak at the recent UDIA WA’s luncheon end of last week. The premiere took the opportunity whilst addressing industry leaders to announce the draft Medium Density Code now out for comments which has been prepared to improve the design quality of medium density housing and to encourage better designed housing/more choice to match the changing needs and expectation...s of our community. The new Medium Density Housing Code is built into the Residential Design Codes (R-Codes). This draft new policy contains development controls for single and grouped dwellings, in areas coded R30 and above, and multiple dwellings coded R30-R60. This ranges from single detached or semi-detached houses on small lots, to terraces, villas, apartment houses and low-rise apartment buildings up to four storeys. JMB Coastal in collaboration with Vision Surveys Consulting & Jay Sidhu x Vision Surveys Consulting have received development approval from the City of Vincent for this exciting new three unit development in a stunning pocket of North Perth.... This was a challenging project with variations for the land subdivision to be justified with the Department of Planning, Lands and Heritage prior to proceeding with the Development Approval process.
