21.01.2022 @spacestationau is the newest co-working space offering to hit Melbourne and I was very pleased to have designed and co-ordinated the build of this clever website. The main function of the website is to show off these beautifully appointed work spaces, plus process online bookings. The Space Station offers different sized serviced offices to suit all needs - be it training rooms, boardrooms, private offices and/or hotdesks.... The best thing about this service is that its so flexible rooms can be booked for an hour, day or over several days. Space Station currently have 54 offices and hotdesks at 3 different locations on offer. Through careful planning and clever branding, we were able to strike a happy medium between a professional, chic corporate feel and a friendly, approachable vibe in the look and feel of the website. We achieved this by using pastel tones and featuring visuals of actual people interacting with the space. To give the user the most realistic and authentic experience of each space, we captured the offices in 3 different ways, through photography, videography plus incorporated a 3D virtual tour feature whereby site visitors can literally walk through the space via their screens. 20.01.2022 Was so excited to paint my very first traffic signal box this week. Thanks to @artsandculturemcc myself and 13 other artists from Maribyrnong area were given the opportunity to decorate these otherwise dull grey nothings. Thanks to @chuckmayfield and @clairepublicart for all your help along the way. I got tooted by passing motorists, offered water and coffee by kind locals and nice compliments from passers by all day long - amazing! Can’t wait to see the rest of them. It’s such a great initiative that helps brighten everyone’s day.

06.01.2022 To my valued clients, lots of us are trying to tighten our belts during this tough time and I have had a few clients approach me about making my designs available for them to edit on Canva. I think this is a great idea and certainly Canva is a better template solution than using Microsoft Office apps. I think Canva is a great tool that enables anyone to be able to create decent looking marketing communication autonomously. Having said this, the in-built templates that are av...ailable natively inside the app aren’t necessarily on brand and tend to be over-used, so if you are going to utilise this tool and want to retain some level of authenticity and uniqueness, I’d suggest to commission one of us designers to create a custom template and brand kit for you in Canva so that you can edit this piece of marketing to its full potential. 05.01.2022 It seems that the season for annual reports has certainly kicked off! Been getting a couple of quote requests for these lately so I thought I’d share one I did last year for Neighbourhood Houses Victoria, a not-for-profit organisation. Neighbourhood Houses bring people together to connect, learn and contribute in their local community through social, educational, recreational and support activities, using a unique community development approach. There are currently 260 Neighbourhood houses across Victoria. My client wanted to represent a lot of the data graphically in order to engage readers and as a result the report featured lots of infographics which was fun to create. 04.01.2022 This week I've been kept busy by the Hume City Council. I have been commissioned to design their Creative Community Strategy document which was a fun challenge... the cut paper collage aesthetic was a bit 'out there' in terms of a concept but luckily well received by the client - phew!

These three business card samples show the faded grey colour which is perfect when trying to achieve that minimalist, industrial look. The colour and texture resembles a concrete feel.
