21.01.2022 Another moving story this week from a young girl in Cambodia. The unwanted child of an alcoholic father and raped by her uncle when only 7, Boun Thorne had not known love. The gift of a shoe box along with the Gospel message introduced her to a heavenly Father that loved her. A powerful story. These next couple of weeks we are collecting Something to Play with.

14.01.2022 The Lord’ s love never ends; His mercies never stop. They are new every morning; Lord, Your loyalty is great. Lamentations 3:22-23 God reminds us of this powerful promise which offers peace to our hearts in hard seasons. This gives us great H O P E in the battles we face today, like rays of light breaking through the darkest night. For just as sure as the sun comes up every morning, we can be confident that His mercies never end. They are never based on how good we are, but only on His CONSISTENT character. 10.01.2022 Trust in the Lord

10.01.2022 I think we are all concerned - as we should be - about the recent fresh outbreaks in Queensland and the changes in restrictions. We should continue to pray for this unfolding situation. The good news is that churches with a Covid safe plan -as we have - are not affected by these new restrictions. We can continue to meet for Tuesday Prayer meetings and for this Sundays service.... We will keep you updated of any changes but in the meantime for your sake and the sake of others - Practice good social distancing and when you cannot, please wear a face-mask. - Keep using that hand sanitiser. - If you have any symptoms please get tested at one of the many local testing stations. - Be vigilant and stay safe.

05.01.2022 Ok. Get ready with the tissues. This is a very powerful story about the life changing effect a simple shoebox packed with love and prayers can bring about. I cried! Kululu, who grew up in a slum in Kenya, first realized that God loved him when he received a gift-filled shoebox as a child! This is a very stirring story.... Our focus for collecting this next fortnight will be Something for Personal Hygiene. - toothbrush, bar of soap, face washer, brush, comb, hair accessories.

04.01.2022 Join us in a big shout out of WELCOME to Pastor John and Jocie Meadth, taking up the reins as our new leaders here at VCF. Our special guest speaker, Phillip Mutzelburg, will be praying over the Meadths as they step into their new shoes this Sunday. Its an exciting new season in God. Service begins at 9.30am, and please come early to allow time for signing the Register of Attendance, due to COVID requirements.

03.01.2022 Our team has been hard at work through the week making some changes within the building that will ultimately improve the experience for both our online steaming presence and our worship times/preaching visuals. We've been working steadily but may not be finished for tomorrow morning, so please be patient to see the full extent of the improvements. This will in no way impact tomorrow morning's service. (Now you'll WANT to come if only to see what's happening! :P )

03.01.2022 Big thank you to all those who have been donating to Operation Christmas Child these past few weeks. Wow! Great job everyone! This week we continue collecting for the category of Something to Play With. Here is another great story to inspire you - how God works through a simple gift to completely change someones life. ... https://video.samaritanspurse.org/a-simple-act-of-kindness/

02.01.2022 Message Caution God At Work - Ps John Meadth

01.01.2022 Hi everyone attending - or planning to attend - VCF this coming Sunday. Just a little Covid-19 update. You may have heard of some positive cases relating to a local school and Ipswich Hospital. As a result, we have taken the initiative of giving the church building areas a thorough extra deep clean. It was not a requirement upon us but we want to do all we can to provide a safe place of worship. So, please do feel safe as you join with us this Sunday. We have every required protocol in place - attendance records, sanitiser and social distancing. You are welcome to wear face mask if you prefer. Unless you have symptoms or compromised health in some way - please come along. Jocie Meadth has a great message from Gods Word and wed love to see you.

01.01.2022 Do you fight the good fight? Do you keep the faith? Lets live our lives in such a way that we can say this at the end.

01.01.2022 The shoe boxes you pack dont just hold the gifts you put in them, but an opportunity to share the gift of the Good News of Jesus. Check out the smiles on these childrens faces as they open their boxes. :) :) Continuing over this next fortnight collecting Something to Play With.
