25.01.2022 How much screen time should you allow your children? Queensland Health Guildlines: Babies and toddlers (0 to 2 years old): No screen time at all.... Pre-schoolers (2 to 5 years old): No more than 1 hour of screen time in total throughout the day including watching TV or looking at a computer or phone. Children and young people ( 5-17 years old): No more than 2 hours of recreational screen time including watching TV or looking at a computer or phone. The less time spent inactive in front of a screen, the better their health and eyesight will be. Break every 30 minutes. 11.01.2022 CORONA VIRUS MEASURES IN OPTOMETRY CLINIC Our optometry clinic are still open for eye examination for all patients, especially for the following: sudden loss of vision... headaches/migrains pressure in the eye medication for glaucoma or eye diseases flashes in vision floaters in vision foreign body removal in the eye Cleaning Procedure: Disinfect all basic surfaces. Disinfect all testing equipment. Disinfect all frames. Implement basic infection control measures including hand hygiene, respiratory hygiene/cough etiquette (regular hand washing, covering mouth and nose when coughing and sneezing), and environmental disinfection. Wear face mask. Disinfect all surfaces patients have come in contact with, including door handles and frames, equipment, chin rests, chair etc. as per other virulent diseases (such as viral conjunctivitis).
