Not only did this legend, Dimity Brown, come to our 10am Burner class every single day.. - DB also had a personal training session before one of the classes and still killed it - annnnd she did it with a great big smile and an awesome sense of humour ... And thats what we are all about!
24.01.2022 BREAKY GO-TO A common question we receive from clients is what they can have for breaky thats quick, easy and most importantly macro-friendly An omelette is the perfect way to start the day because it takes about five minutes, is something you can even make the night before and take to work with you and will start you off with the perfect balance of carbs, proteins and fats ... Carbs: 12.8g Protein: 18.7g Fat: 5.4g Ingredients (Serves 1) 50g Baby Spinach 1 Tsp Rice Bran Vegetable Oil 50g Capsicum 10g Red Hot Chilli Peppers 4 Egg Whites 50g Mushrooms 25g Red Onions 50g Cherry Tomatoes Method: 1. Beat egg whites and then spray medium to hot fry pan with rice bran oil. Add egg whites and let it half cook. 2. Add chopped capsicum, tomato and mushrooms, red onion, spinach and chopped fresh chilli then add pepper. 3. Let cook for until omelette browns slightly then fold half the omelette up to cover the ingredients. 4. Once underneath is brown use a plate and cover the pan, turn the pan upside down to take the omelette out and slide the opposite side of the omelette face down into the pan to finish the cooking.

Standing up and going for a walk when making phone calls or having a lunch break Set a reminder in your phone to complete a 2 minute stretch routine a couple of times a day - you don't even need to leave your chair! Consume 2L of water each day Most of our injuries and stiffness stem from sitting in a chair all day. Muscles start to tighten where they shouldn't and we experience pain in our day to day lives that can be fixed with some basic stretching and strengthening You probably hear your trainer go on and on about it all the time But they're right! Prioritisitng your body for ten minutes a day could make all the difference to living a pain free life!

22.01.2022 GROUP CLASSES Did you know we have group classes everyday (mon-fri) at 6am and 10am? Well, you do now! ... Group classes are an awesome way to compliment your personal training so you can get in your extra training without having to think about it! If you struggle with getting yourself to the gym and not really knowing what to do whilst youre there when youre not with your trainer then groups are perfect for you! Each group is capped at 10 people to ensure safety and personal attention to each client. This also means that the trainer know whens youre not there and a bit of extra accountability never goes astray

Outside of her regular sessions with trainer, Kate, Tracy comes into the gym on her own and works hard at becoming the strongest and fittest version of herself Trying and nailing everything Kate throws at her, Tracy is overcoming a not-so-good back but never lets that get in the way of her training Not only has Tracy been training the house down, her nutrition has been on point and is no longer snacking but instead practicing mindful eating Tracy lifts the gym with her awesome attitude and we are lucky to have her as a part of the studio! Kath has been a client with us for just over a year now and has always absolutely trained the house down but this shoutout is for her massive effort so far in our Body Transformation Challenge! ... Kath is down a massive 2.3kgs and 2% body fat in just five weeks and is looking and feeling awesome!! Keep up the amazing work, Kath!

19.01.2022 SUNDAY BAKING Save this one, team! Perfect for all of those who crave a little sugar fix at 3pm ... Healthy Choc Cupcakes Carbs: 9.9g Protein: 6.6g Fats: 10.3g Ingredients (Serves 10) 30g Cacao Powder 35g Coconut Flour 7g Baking Powder 30g Cocoa Powder 4 tbsp Coconut Oil 4 Eggs 45g Honey 2g Cinnamon 1 Serving Natural Sweetener 400g Ricotta Light 1g Salt 5g Vanilla Extra Method 1. Pre heat oven to 160 degrees and then combine the cacao powder, coconut flour, baking powder, cinnamon and sea salt. 2. Then add the eggs, honey, vanilla and oil and mix well until smooth and combined. 3. Spoon into a cupcake tin with cupcake holders already inserted and bake for 30 mins. 4. Remove from the oven and allow to cool, while you make the frosting. 5. For the frosting combine the ricotta, cocoa and stevia until a whipped consistency has formed. 6. When cupcakes are cool spoon the frosting onto the cupcakes and serve immediately or keep in fridge

Braving the icey sea to get in their training is one of the many extraordinary things these two do that keep their clients and fellow trainers alike on the edge of their seat, waiting to see what they are going to do next. ... 16.01.2022 TEAM WORK At the end of one of our awesome outdoor Burner classes, Wade and Wade had finished their workout and Brook had just one more run to go... Did both Wades just sit and watch Brook do the final run herself because they had already completed it? ... Did Brook think that the class was technically finished and therefore didnt need to do her last run? ABSOLUTELY NOT These legends rallied together and did the run side by side to finish the workout as a team and thats just how we do at Vision Willoughby

If you fall off the wagon one day, dont chuck the towel in tell yourself youll just start on Monday Get straight back on track the next day! Its the constant effort over a period of time that gives us healthy, maintainable results So dont give up if the scales havent moved after one week, progress isnt linear.. keep at it and trust the process
15.01.2022 CONSISTENCY IS KEY Check out our little pocket rocket client, Laura Patterson! Laura is a perfect example that consistency in training is what leads to results ... While gyms were closed, Laura didnt miss a session and this video proves it! Here she is doing a 50kgs split squat for ten reps just two weeks after our doors reopened- thats 2.5kgs heavier than her body weight!!!
15.01.2022 COMMUNITY APPRECIATION POST For nine weeks, the Vision Community has been training to tackle a challenge each individual set for themselves Clients and trainers alike set themselves a goal to complete this fitness challenge on July 25th and boy, did they knock it out the park ... 06.01.2022 Looking for an afternoon snack or an alternative to your usual meat and three veg? You'll love our mini meatloaves! You can prepare them ahead of time so you can just grab and go! Mini Spicy Meatloaves... Carbs: 6.1g Protein: 21.2g Fat: 4.3g Ingredients (Serves 12) 50g Cherry Tomatoes 1kg Extra Lean Beef Mince 10g Cumin 2 Whole Eggs 15g Garlic 2 Tsp Tabasco Sauce 30g Spring Onions 100g Multigrain Bread Crumbs Method: 1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees. In a large bowl, mix together beef mince, breadcrumbs, garlic, spring onions, eggs, cumin and Tabasco sauce. 2. Using a spray oil, lightly spray a muffin tray so that meatloaves do not stick to tray. Divide mixture into each muffin space. Place in oven for approx. 20 mins. 3. Chop cherry tomatoes in half and then once meatloaves have been in oven for 20 mins place two halves on top of each loaf and season with salt and pepper as desired. 4. Return to oven for approx. 10 mins. Serve 1 or 2 loaves with a green salad or steamed vegetables for a quick dinner option or store for a high protein snack on the run Meatloaves can be added to wraps, sliced and added to crispbread or enjoyed as is with a homemade dip.

Saxon was voted our most valuable player for being an all round great guy! ... He is always there to offer up some positive advice if you need it. He delivers ripper sessions to his clients. He practices what he preaches, pushing himself in his own training and leading a sustainable, vegan lifestyle. 04.01.2022 DOUBLE TROUBLE Heres what Trainer AP, has to say about our favourite Dynamic Duo: If you see one Wade you know the other one is in the building. They train hard every day and never take a backwards step. They love a challenge, a bit of competition and buying long leg skins. Aside from being awesome to train they definitely keep me on my toes as Im always trying to increase the intensity and one up the previous workout, otherwise wade will send me his heart rate results from the session to prove it wasnt as tough as last weeks AMRAP. Two Vision legends, and I enjoy training them a lot!

03.01.2022 CLIENT SHOUTOUT This absolute weapon is a Vision Willoughby favourite, Brook! Check out Brooks new deadlift PB of 50kgs for ten reps ... You read that right! 50kgs Brook walked into the gym for the first time a couple of years ago with zero experience- her words were I was allergic to the gym. Well, well, well.. How things have changed! Brook comes into the gym with a big smile on her face, gets super excited about new exercises and even really misses the gym when she cant make it! Just goes to show how much fun we have a Vision Willoughby, hey Brook? Lets all be a bit more like Brook because shes a legend!
03.01.2022 Covid 19 Fitness Challenge, on the 25 of July Team Willoughby and the wider community will rise above the pandemic and put their fitness to the test by completing their epic event.. 3 weeks to go!!!!
02.01.2022 LEAN MEAN MOUNTAIN BREAD LASAGNE - yum! Carbs: 36.6g Protein: 29.5g Fat: 9.7g Ingredients (Serves 4)... 150g Capsicum 300g Beef Mince Premium 350g Eggplant 10g Garlic 4 Barley Wraps (Mountain Bread) 150g Onions 40g Parmesan Cheese 100g Ricotta Cheese 400g Crushed Tomatoes (Canned) 300g Zucchini Method: 1. Chop capsicum into quarters and roast under the grill for 15 mins until skin blisters and blackens. Roast capsicum in oven 180 C for 10 mins. Remove and place capsicum in plastic bag for 10 mins, once cool remove skin from capsicum. 2. Cut zucchini and eggplant into 5mm thick slices. Brown under grill for 10 mins. 3. Cook onion and garlic in non-stick fry pan, stirring until onion is soft. Add mince and cook till brown then add tin of tomatoes. 4. Place one slice of mountain bread into bottom of oven proof dish. Layer with mince, eggplant, zucchini and capsicum and another sheet of mountain bread until all mixture is used up. 5. Spoon ricotta over top of lasagne and sprinkle with parmesan cheese. 6. Bake in 180 C oven for 1 hour or until cheese is golden brown.
