21.01.2022 Next Sunday May 3rd is National Wild Koala Day. Organisers are calling for everyone to pin a gum leaf on their shirt. It is the perfect symbol to celebrate wild... koalas: gum leaves are 100% natural and critical to koala survival, and most Australians can get one, even in isolation. Koalas of Raymond Island (our new koala shelter) will celebrate Wild Koala Day by posting on facebook pics of people wearing the gum leaf. Get creative! You can’t wear a real koala, but you can involve a toy one and wear the thing they need most gum leaves. Email your selfie to Shelly Robinson at [email protected] by Friday 1st May 2020. You can also support Wild Koala Day by sharing a pic on social media. Tag #wildkoaladay to show you care about koalas. Pic by Mark Alderman
