25.01.2022 Star light, star bright If Dads a bit of a #stargazer or night photographer then maybe plan a trip to #drakesbrookweir on Fathers Day this Sunday Sept 6th. Have an early dinner at Drakesbrook Hotel Motel (make sure to book) or set up at the Weir late afternoon for a barbie and a stroll. The #milkyway is in the western sky this time of year and is visible from just after sunset until around midnight. Therell be plenty of time to gaze and shoot before the moon rises around 9.30pm. Heres to clear skies and a Happy Fathers Day to all! A big thank you to Ren Theelen Landscape Photographer for these great shots.

Just a hop, skip and a jump away from some gorgeous places to visit including our wonderful winery, beautiful weir and dam, and some fabulous cafes. Come visit!
