11.01.2022 Did you know that our iconic stainless steel flag mast acts as a huge lightning rod? It protects an area of approximately 350 square metres over the centre of the building. Copper bars are connected to the base of each flag mast leg, and runs down the sides of the curved granite walls to connect with the building’s earth. When lightning strikes the mast, it is conducted harmlessly down to the ground.
