25.01.2022 Welcome!! Long post warning! We have now officially opened our doors but there are some things you may need to know..... * Our beergarden is now effectively ou...r main dining area. Think of it as our new Bistro. Entrance will be the gate along the Werribee River. Capacity of 50, with a max booking of 10. This will now be a No Smoking area. * Our bistro (inside) is only allowed 10 and will be the Grant St entrance. * Bookings are highly encouraged. Book online or call the venue on 53672031. * TAB will be reopening on Monday with a max number of 10. This will be the usual entrance for the Sportsbar. * All customers will need to wear a mask when not seated and need to show your ID to verify you as a Regional resident. We are excited to have you back and will do our best to keep all of our staff and customers safe and comfortable! See more

22.01.2022 Hey folks! Good News! We can open for dine in again as of Thursday! Bad news: two days isnt quite enough time to get ready! We will be open for dine-ins as of ...Thursday with very limited spots available until we can get a little more organised! For the rest of this week bookings are essential and will remain preferable after Sunday. There will be a new menu next week, welcoming back some old favourites and some new ones! As of Monday we will have space for 10 people inside and 10 people outside as per the new regulations! We will also have to to take down your details and masks must be worn except for when youre eating and drinking. We hope youre as excited as we are! See you soon! See more

21.01.2022 The show has started and what a show. There are 54 artists trading and OMG I dont know which album to open first (second after mine) to look at. To find the a...lbums click the album tab which you will find under the group and members names on the iPad and I think on a computer it will be down the left hand side. Then click on an album. To find out details of items click the individual photos and prices etc should be listed. Comment sold. Easy. Or here are the bears I have for sale this weekend. You are welcome to pop on the group and look or message me and I can let you know. I can then mark the item as sold if you purchase. I know what Ill be doing for a couple of hours today. Grabbing a coffee or two and have a look and maybe even a purchase or two. 20.01.2022 We may not be having a Strawberries and Cherries Weekend this year due to lock down restrictions but luckily nature is not restricted by them. As always nature does its own thing. Naturipe Fruits strawberries, cherries and stone fruits are growing there little hearts out ready for you to pick lots when restrictions are eased.... 18.01.2022 We are open from 4pm tomorrow! Following this we will be open 11.30am until late for lunch and dinner Tuesday through Sunday! We will be able to look after 50 o...utdoor diners and 20 indoor in maximums of 10 per group with the new announcements! Currently with reduced numbers we are accepting PHONE BOOKINGS ONLY. With the small numbers indoors there will be booking times of 12pm and 1.45pm for indoor lunch bookings and 6pm and 7.45pm for indoor dinner bookings. Take away will still be available! Cant wait to have people back!

14.01.2022 Bee swarms happen as the weather warms up in spring and the bees ramp up production to take advantage of the pollen and nectar from all the flowering things. Th...e swarm is simply a large number of bees and a queen trying to find a new home with a bit more space. What to do if you see one? 1. You need to know that the bees arent, or are unlikely to be, aggressive while theyre swarming but you can still get stung so dont approach them. 2. There are a few stages to swarming activity. First a large swirling mass of bees will be flying around looking for somewhere to settle. At this stage the bees could go anywhere and be very mobile and difficult to catch. Probably not the best time to call me as the swarm will be gone by the time anyone gets to it. Next they swarm will find a spot to settle while workers go searching for a hollow, box, possum box, bird box, letter box, meter box, Telstra pit, wall or chimney to live in. This ball of bees will be relatively calm and this is the best time to try to collect them. See the first photo. Best time to call me. These can stay in place for up to a couple of days but could leave at any time. The last stage is when the workers come back having found a home and the swarm moves off to move in. If theyve moved into your wall and you want them removed then that becomes an expensive exercise to cut out the plaster, remove the bees and comb and patch up the wall again. Best to avoid this if you can. Swarms can be huge or they can be small. The one in the photo was a bit bigger than a football and was healthy and strong. This was my first swarm. Collecting a swarm requires two visits. One to collect the bees and leave the box. The second at sunset to come and collect the box once all the bees that were out looking for homes return.

14.01.2022 Thanks to everyone that visited this weekend! It was great fun! Should be open Wed-Sun this week. We will confirm this with an update later. But for now, we... are closed for a couple of days. We got 35mm of rain since yesterday, and storm damage to some trees and fruit (and nets ). Cherries can split open if they have water sitting on them for too long. So we are busy toweling them off (not really but we are blowing air to bump the water off them). The sun is poking through now so hopefully we are back to warm and dry :) See more

12.01.2022 Good news we can soon be open for seated dine in! However we still need to get ourselves prepared for your beautiful faces so it will be a few days before we ca...n sit you in. We will be opening on Friday with limited seating until we organise ourselves. From next week we will be ready but limited to only 10 people at a time. In order to support our staff and their families we will be changing our opening hours to Thursdays to Mondays from 8am to 2pm and closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays until there is a bit more stability for our amazing staff. We appreciate your patience and understanding during this time and look forward to reconnecting with you all and filling our little cafe with conversation and laughter again! See more

TRADING HOURS DINNER ONLY Tuesday - Thursday 6pm-8pm LUNCH & DINNER Friday and Saturday 12pm-2pm 5pm-7pm & 7pm-9pm LUNCH ONLY Sunday 12pm-2pm LIMITATIONS 50 people max outdoor area 20 people max indoors 2 hours maximum sitting BOOKINGS ARE ESSENTIAL Because of the limitations we do recommend booking in advance by either calling us on 5367 2016 or sending a message to us directly through our Facebook page. MUST BRING I.D. & A MASK We cannot stress this enough but you must ALL produce Identification with your current residential address, so we have confirmation that you live in Regional Victoria. Masks must be worn at all times in and around the venue until youre seated and have ordered, then you may take them off. You must also stay seated unless using the bathroom or going outside to have a cigarette, as its full table service. We cannot thank you all enough for supporting us in these tough times. Saturday, Tuesday and Thursday we have beautiful fresh sour dough from Darley Bakery. It arrives still warm and there are savoury, plain and sweet varieties Straight from the farmer we have local Dry Creek Milling Co stone ground flour in 1kg and 5kg bags. This is a must for all those cooks that like the real thing. Another straight from farmer to you is Dads Oats. If you like being healthy and love porridge these are the real thing and a Victorian farming family have grown these oats with you in mind.
