14.01.2022 What a beautiful painting by Ada Nanagala Dixon Ada began painting with Warlukurlangu Artists in 2009. She would watch her sister Joy Nangala Brown paint and decided she would paint too. She paints her Father’s Jukurrpa (Dreaming), especially Ngapa Jukurrpa (Water Dreaming), Dreamings which have been passed down over the generations for millennia and relate directly to the land, its features and the plants and animals that inhabit it. Ada uses a vibrant palette to develo...p a modern interpretation of her traditional culture. When Ada is not painting she goes hunting especially on the weekends, I love it! 13.01.2022 Did you know that some people in Central Australia live in underground in caves? Coober Pedy is located 700km south of Alice Springs, and many of its residents have taken to a life underground to escape the hot summer temperatures. This is Crocodile Harry's. Here's what @mish.pich had to say about her visit "Our visit was a dream come true, for anyone that is crazy about the hippie lifestyle like me this place is super COOL! Harry is an ex solider who emigrated to Australi...a after the war. Legend has it ‘Crocodile Harry’ was the inspiration for the famous movie Crocodile Dundee This sleepy little hole is a popular tourist spot that has been preserved by the locals and turned into a museum. There is no staff managing the place just a small honesty box asking for a small administration charge. We had plenty of time to look around at the graffiti on the wall which was super cool but the weird female underwear hanging off the wall a little ‘different’ Cool spot and one not to miss!" 01.01.2022 @mooskicreative was on a flight recently, when something very special happened: "Our Pilot mentioned the fact that our flight path would take us directly over Uluru and Kata Tjuta, and we were SO excited!! We sat locked and loaded with our cameras ready to go, constantly checking the flight map on the back of the seat to see if we were there yet, and boy can we tell you we had no idea we would be able to see it this close! When we visited Uluru back in September last year, we remember saying ‘WOW Imagine seeing this from above’ - and now we HAVE!" Pretty lucky, huh!
