22.01.2022 Clunes bookshop give away will see the doors open on the towns newest bookstore this weekend. Wendy Sattler and her concept for Sneaky Fox Books was the winn...er among 22 hopefuls who vied for the chance to open their own store in Australias only International Booktown. Wendy comes with more than six years experience in managing a bookstore in nearby Castlemaine. Sneaky Fox Books offering of mostly new fiction books, including a wide range for children, brings something a little bit different to the towns current mix of largely second-hand and collectable bookshops. 09.01.2022 Fund Raising Walk for the Hazel Hawke Foundation Jeanette Hartley and her daughter Rebeka walked into Daylesford Visitor Information Centre this afterrnoon after having walked the Goldfields Track from Bendigo. After a well earned stay in Daylesford Jeanette will continue the journey to Ballarat. These girls are raising funds for research into Alzheimers Disease. Sandra and Coby from Queensberry Pip cottage have provided a roof over Jeanettes head tonight.
