14.01.2022 Our local Member for Calare, Andrew Gee MP was on hand last weekend to officially open the Eugowra Historical Museum & Bushranger Centre extensions! . Andrew Gee MP We had a terrific day at Eugowra on Saturday with the community re-uniting after Covid for the unveiling of the extremely rare, restored Fortescue windmill and opening of the extension to the Eugowra Historic Museum and Bushranger Centre.... The museum also now houses a rare Birdsell seed thresher from the 1930’s which was donated by the Herbert family. Eugowra was the scene of some of the wildest bushranger stories in our history, including the escort gold hold-up and the shoot-out at Goimbla station. You can experience it all at the Eugowra Historical Museum & Bushranger Centre!
