21.01.2022 Spring is here and there are two perfect walks for this month, Roths Family Orchard where youll see magnificent historic cherry trees in bloom and Urban Perma...culture where you catch the green thumb enthusiasm in time to set your garden up for Spring. Its very much a hands on approach and both young and old will love both walks. Sunday 17th September 9am - 12.30pm. Whole home was exceptionally clean, comfortable. 10 minute walk into town. Kitchen has all cutlery and utensils needed. Outside sitting area lovely to sit for an afternoon drink. The Mudgee Wine & Food Festival is on again this year with festivities kicking off on the 9th September and continuing on through to the 2nd October 2017. ... The Mudgee Wine & Food Festival is one of New South Wales longest running wine and food festivals and will feature a diverse range of events including live music, tastings, lunches, dinners and tours. While there is a number of signature events of the Festival each participating winery is offering their own unique experience. 08.01.2022 Twas nearly Christmas in Mudgee, the heat was oppressive; But smiles still lit faces; street windows were festive! Whats that loud whirring? Oh, hip hip hoora...y! Its Santa in a chopper! But where was his sleigh? Ho, ho, ho, Mudgee! he joyfully boomed; "I wouldve come sooner but the trip was near doomed When the reindeer heard "Mudgee", they decided to taste A few local wines, and laid themselves waste. So theyre home at North Pole; dosed up on Berocca And Im here with the presents; the chopper is chocka! No Pinot. No Shiraz. And definitely no Chardy. Only water for them; theres no reindeer party! So I threw them some hay, and checked all their fences; then set off to Mudgee, ready to reset my senses! After delivering the pressies, its the Food Trail Ill hit; Do I feel sorry for the reindeer? Not one little bit! Ive Zinned, and Ive Lowed; tasted all Mudgee has to offer Now my suits way too tight; Im stuffed to the coffer! Ive discovered great reds, that I love my port white But now its Goodbye dear Mudgee; Merry Christmas; Good night!
