23.01.2022 LET US INTRODUCE YOU TO... CHARLES KNIFE CANYON One of the less known highlight when visiting the area, but nonetheless truly spectacular and actually a must-see, don't you think? @zaylatwine

19.01.2022 NO FILTER NEEDED Pastel stars over the Vlaming Head Lighthouse.

19.01.2022 BUSH CHOOK vs BUSH TURKEY Sometimes mistaken for a juvenile emu, the Australian bustard (Ardeotis australis) is one of the largest birds in Australia, growing up to 120cm in height! Despite their large size, this impressive bird can take flight, with a wingspan twice its length, allowing it to travel long distances across grasslands and spinifex plains. Make sure to watch out (!) when driving Yardie Creek Road, as you can often see them take off there.... @ningaloocoastworldheritage

18.01.2022 UNIQUE AND RIGHT AT YOUR DOORSTEP WA Australia's wildlife is incredibly unique, with many species found nowhere else in the world and now is the time for WA residents to get cosy with them: whale sharks, humpback whales, turtles, manta rays... take the chance and visit. @nush.freedman

13.01.2022 NEW LOCAL ART AT BUNDEGI BEACH The Shire of Exmouth contracted local artist Tiff Clitheroe (T-Heroe Designs) to create a unique piece for the Bundegi Beach Information Shelter. 05.01.2022 ONE OF THE BEST THINGS IN THIS WORLD HAPPENED Baby emu season started! After breeding, the male does most of the incubation, losing significant weight during this time as he does not eat. The eggs hatch after around eight weeks and the young are nurtured by their fathers. The chicks reach full size after around six months but can remain with their family until the next breeding season half a year later.

04.01.2022 HIPP HIPP HOORAY EXMOUTH! What is your favourite memory visiting us? Let us know in the comments!

04.01.2022 THEY ARE HERE Found in oceans and seas around the world, humpback whales typically migrate up to 25,000 km (16,000 mi) each year. They feed in polar waters and migrate to tropical or subtropical waters to breed and give birth, fasting and living off their fat reserves. Humpbacks are a friendly species that interact with other cetaceans such as bottlenose dolphins and sometimes even with us humans being out on the ocean as well. Like this little guy checking out his surroundi...ngs and being all curious and excited! @janinemarxphotography
