25.01.2022 There is something particularly special about Stanley (even the cows think so). With luscious green paddocks, fertile rolling hills and coastal views for days this place will provide you with all the goods for your next visit. Start by wondering around the township which boasts so much charm and historic appeal. Then sample some of Tassie’s finest produce and seafood at the local cafes and restaurants. Of course, it won’t be a complete trip without visiting the stunning Nut. You may choose to walk it or take the chairlift. Either way, the reward will be well worth it with 360-degree views of Bass Straight. Stanley and Tarkine Tasmania @madeleinetbecker via IG

21.01.2022 What’s on the other side of Arthur River, you ask? Nothing but red rocks and endless ocean. It’s why they call this part of North West Tasmania the Edge of the World. Surrounded by rugged coastline a wild river, and dense rainforest Arthur River is a great place to explore the more untamed side of Tassie. Arthur River, Stanley and Tarkine Tasmania : @wildbonde/IG
21.01.2022 When a picture does all the talking for you The Nut can be viewed from almost every nook and cranny of Stanley. It's resting in the distance while you're having a quiet coffee in the township, or playing peekaboo around corners on your morning stroll. One thing we can guarantee is that it's the kind of photobomb you'll welcome when reminiscing over holiday snaps. In fact, it might just be the reason you trek to the western end of North West Tasmania in the first place.... Stanley and Tarkine Tasmania @meganquilliamm via IG. See more
19.01.2022 Coastal town Devonport is where the Spirit of Tasmania docks, but don’t rush off just yet stay awhile. This town is also home to delicious food, white sand beaches, great boutiques and tourist activities. The Bluff is a great place to start, with the surf lifesaving club offering fantastic casual and fine dining options. The central shopping mall is only a short 15-minute walk along the esplanade where you will find a great mix of homewares, boutiques and big chain stores. For a scenic experience, hop aboard the Don River Railway steam train which takes you along the eastern banks of picturesque Don River . Drift

02.01.2022 When driving through Discover Tasmania's Kentish Municipality look up, look left, look right. You’re bound to spot the glorious Mount Roland in your horizon. Weaving around the bends en-route to Cradle Mountain, passing through the charming township of Sheffield, at 1233 metres above sea level, you won’t miss Mount Roland. And hey, you might even choose to hike it? The preferred track starts at Gowrie Park Village on O'Neill's Road (off the C136) and takes 4-6 hours return. It’s well worth the reward with the peak summit providing spectacular 360-degree views of Bass Strait, Cradle Mountain and the Barn Bluff.
