22.01.2022 Just a little bit about how and why we package our Smoked Bluefin Tuna the way we do. The Australian Bluefin Tuna fishery is one of the most sustainable fishe...ries in the world. We pride ourselves on sourcing the highest quality tuna and all Australian ingredients to produce our Smoked products Our house smoker, Robert, fillets and hand cuts the tuna into 100-150g pieces. It is then put through a special brining process before it is placed into our smokers, using our pacific blend wood chips. From there, each packet is carefully hand packed, sealed and placed into our retail packaging ready for delivery to your local store. We decided to keep both our Hot and Cold Smoked Tuna in a fillet so you can enjoy how you would like... Thick or thinly sliced, broken up in a salad or presented beautifully on a platter to show off some of the best produce of South Australia.

16.01.2022 SUNBATHING SEA LION This rather large sea lion stopped traffic at the Port Lincoln marina at about 2.30pm today when it decided to sun bake on the road.... Two men encouraged it out of danger by tapping a rake on the road. Sea lions are an endangered species and inhabit the islands south of Port Lincoln. You will be able to join an organised tour but will be unable to visit on your own. 06.01.2022 The District Council of Elliston are pleased to advise that the Woolshed at Talia Caves will reopen tomorrow. Thanks to EP Civil & Earthmoving for completing th...e very difficult job of removing the 20 tonne boulder that was left precariously poised on the side of the cliff above the caves left after a landslide. And also thanks to the Pryor brothers for their brilliant work in repairing the staircase couple of chippies off the ol’ block!! Photos will be provided early next week of the completed project.
