25.01.2022 It's FriYAY! And we're excited that Foodies Night Markets are in town to hook us up with good eats & music to kick off the weekend. These markets pop up all around the country and some of the proceeds are donated to Rural Aid. We feel a bit special to be on their map this time around - we love a good foodie event here! 12.01.2022 From today (Thursday 1 October 2020), the NSW "border bubble" zone, which Tenterfield is already part of, also includes Byron Bay, Ballina, Lismore, Richmond Valley, and Glen Innes, and the QLD "border bubble" zone no longer exists. So what do these changes mean for travellers? QLD residents can travel anywhere in the NSW border zone for any purpose.... NSW border zone residents can travel anywhere in QLD for any purpose. QLD and NSW residents that remain within the NSW border zone during their travels are not required to quarantine upon entry/re-entry to QLD. 09.01.2022 BEATS IN BRUXNER Over the coming weekends, visitors to Tenterfield’s main shopping and dining precinct will be treated to a special musical soundtrack to enhance their retail and dining experience. The music sessions are intended to reactivate our regional township following community hardship caused by drought, bushfires and COVID-19, whilst providing local musicians with a live performance platform.... Whilst gathering of groups is not permitted under current COVID-19 guidelines, we encourage you to enjoy our beautiful main street and listen to performances by local musicians, including the wonderful Jess Lockwood, Christine Davis, Helen Conway and Peter Harris, to name a few. 10am - 2pm: Sat 3, Sun 4 + Mon 5 Oct Sat 10 + Sun 11 Oct We hope our visitors, locals and retailers enjoy the vibe of Beats in Bruxner and Tenterfield as we blossom into warmer weather.
