12.01.2022 It’s been a particularly challenging year, with limited opportunities for fundraising. Donations of used bottles and cans for recycling has been a great fundraising initiative for the Tilba CWA. This weekend Tilba CWA has placed a Return & Earn milk crate collection point in the car park near Ellen's Pantry. If the trial is successful other collection points will be identified! Look out for it this weekend!

05.01.2022 Important community meeting regarding the Easter Festival - Tuesday Dec 1 at 5pm! There is a Zoom (online) meeting scheduled for 5pm-6pm on Tuesday December 1 specifically to discuss the Tilba Festival. It is really important that we make a decision about whether we proceed with a Festival on Easter weekend 2021; or whether we do it later in the year; or whether we pare it back, taking the opportunity of this crazy year to adapt it and if so, what does Festival 2.0 look li...ke? There is a real chance that if we don’t get enough community support for this event that it will have to be postponed altogether to 2022. (Under the circumstances, this would not be unreasonable). At a time when other towns in the region are trying hard to get similar events off the ground, this would be a real shame for Tilba district. We also have guaranteed funding for the event this year. BUT let's put our heads together and see what we can come up with, and have a proper discussion about this, before a decision is made. This is an open invitation if you have friends or family who are not Chamber members but keen to get involved in helping organise the Festival please tag them in the comments on this post so they can see it. If they or you are unable to join but want to provide input and/or a commitment to support the organisation of a festival, PLEASE email us on [email protected] with your thoughts asap! The Festival meeting will be held via Zoom only (no physical mtg is planned) and you will need to register using the link below. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting. DATE: Tuesday 1 December 2020 TIME: 5.00pm (AEDT) ZOOM REGISTRATION: https://us02web.zoom.us//tZMrd-urrTktG9WdnSRPG_PdVLzaiShSv

04.01.2022 This is HUGE! What an incredible result! Congratulations to our friends at Tilba Real Dairy who’ve swept the board with these awards! We haven’t been this excited since Torvill and Dean performed that memorable paso doble at the 1984 Winter Olympics! Seriously though, great to see recognition for all that hard work. And for keeping Tilba ‘on the map’! Well done guys!
