16.01.2022 Welcome Dr Ralph to @backbythebeachchiropractic Dear Patients, It’s great to be back working in Semaphore again! I worked here from 2002 to 2009 in Semaphore South Chiropractic on Military Road. Since then I have been working in Queensland & spent some time in the USA, returning just before lockdown from COVID-19.... After 37 years in Chiropractic, I am still learning & expanding my knowledge base to serve patients better. I received my Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer West, and Diplomate in Chiropractic Orthopaedics in California for disability & impairment rating & expert witness court testimony. In Rome, I had the opportunity to work with orthopaedic surgeons & observe surgery. I was also the chiropractor for the Rome ballet & worked with world class power weightlifters. Five years ago I went through my own health challenges. I became stiff & arthritic in my hands & feet, weak & tired, no energy, poor digestion, abdominal weight gain, rashes on my hands, neck, & face. I got no help from the medical profession. As my blood labs were normal they told me I was fine! I later diagnosed myself with psoriatic arthritis & systemic lupus, It was then that I realised that lab tests were not that helpful or accurate in describing your health condition. As I had worked at NASA Ames Research Centre during University, I started to research nutrition based only on science & research. It took me 2 years of study, but I have completely reversed these 2 autoimmune diseases. Medically, there is no cure, only a lifelong prognosis of worsening degeneration. So now I am happy to share my knowledge of this process called Chronic Inflammation which is a result of chronic stress over many years. If you are over 40 years old & living in our current stressful society, then you may already have chronic inflammation, which may be the underlying problem with many chronic diseases such as autoimmune diseases, cancer, neurodegenerative diseases such as dementia, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, etc. Metabolic dysfunction can be identified using specific blood lab analysis & corrected using diet & supplements. Your disease process may be reversed gradually over time and you can regain your health just as I did! I am looking forward to meeting all of you & helping you with these health challenges using Ayurvedic pulse diagnosis, blood & hair tissue analysis, and of course Chiropractic.
