24.01.2022 Bowen therapy is a gentle and effective technique suitable for anyone including pregnant women, newborn babies and the elderly. The Bowen technique is very different to massage. Bowen works on the soft connective tissue of the body called fascia. Using thumb and fingers, the therapist will perform a series of moves on the fascia or a specific muscle. There will be "breaks" between moves to allow the body to rest. This initiates the body's innate ability to self-heal. Bowen T...herapy is a holistic approach that addresses the body as whole rather that one specific symptom. Many of the patients who has tried Bowen Therapy consistently had lasting healing and relief even after previously not responding to other forms of therapies.
