07.01.2022 Hi Greg You may not remember me but I’m a customer of yours from some time ago now... I just wanted to to share my experience with you regarding the beads in my goldfish pond. some time back now I placed a bag of the beads inside my pond itself and I have a bag of beads inside the bucket with water which I use to replace/refill water into my pond come time for water changes etc.. I have done tests on the water and it tends to stay at a high PH range about 8-9. I have two lar...ge gold fish in my pond and a number of aquatic plants which are thriving (along with a internal uvfilter mainly for the floating debri and water movement) I must say from a person who has kept fish for years both in ponds and fish tank alike I have never had such healthy looking fish then the two in my pond currently. If you look online they all seem to agree about the ph range of 6.5-7 for a healthy pond that supports plants and fish but I beg to differ now that I’ve seen it first hand in my own pond.
