14.01.2022 Good afternoon, Below are fun learning activities for children and grandparents running Friday mornings in the Joondalup family centre (behind Joondalup primary school) where we are located also. An update about our current availability for speech pathology assessment & therapy: sessions from Tues-Sat in the Joondalup family centre for children and adults. ... We have a waiting list for school visits in the Joondalup and Tuart Hill area. Our plan is for a new therapist to start in January to increase our availability!

12.01.2022 These little Primary school bites videos from the Kingspark website are fantastic! Parents can use them to give their children a chance to watch content on local WA related science topics. Discuss with your child what the videos were about and memories of going to Kingspark. Ask them to write down what they have learnt, helping them to write a full sentence with correct spelling. After they have pulled out interesting facts, listen together one more time to help them to re...call more detail. They can draw and label the Quenda in the Quenda Quest or draw nature scene to revise what they have learnt further and then they can discuss it with another family member who has not watched the video for oral retell practice. Their eyes sparkle and they experience joy as they notice us and the ‘something new’ that we are sharing with them, be it a game, or a moment.
