13.01.2022 VIVE Group Is Dead But where have I been? What's going on? And what is VIVE Media? I answer all your questions and share a little about my journey in this video.

10.01.2022 Take Better Photos In Dark Gyms with RAW We all want banger photos of our members, but most of us also have gyms with challenging lighting (too dark, fluorescent bulbs, etc). One of the best ways to improve your photos is to change your camera setting to record RAW photos instead of JPG's.* Basically, RAW photos save all the information from the image and give you waaaaay more flexibility to edit dark images (check out some of the sample photos below) When you shoot in JPG..., your camera decides how the photo should look and 'bakes' the image that way, making it a lot harder to edit later. So, if you're serious about showing your members off to the world in the best way possible, grab your camera and change your File Format to either RAW or RAW & JPEG *To edit RAW images, you'll need software like Lightroom or the Lightroom Mobile app.

06.01.2022 8K Video in Your Gym? The #1 reason I hear from box owners on why they aren't telling more stories with photo/video is that they can't afford a nice camera. But the truth is, the cameras in our pockets are truly amazing. The iPhone 11 pro does killer video and the stabilization means you don't even need a gimbal. And now Samsung has just announced the S10 Ultra that shoots 8K video and 108 Megapixel photos! Now, is the low light performance and depth of field going to... be great? No. Is it still worth buying a quality full-frame camera (like the Sony A7iii)? Absolutely. But there's absolutely no excuse for not pulling out your phone, cleaning off the lens (fingerprints suck), and asking your members what they love about your gym. That's a pretty great place to start. So let me know, have you filmed on a phone? How did it go? What were the biggest challenges? Should I do a video about it? And don't forget, capture Moments Not Movement - Tye See more

04.01.2022 Box Owners: Set The Tone for the Week Use Monday mornings to communicate with your team: 1. What is the Training intent for this week? 2. What is the Member Experience intent for this week? 3. What are you working on improving as a Box Owner?... 4. What are they working on improving as a Coach? The best way to do this is with a short (1-2min) video message to your teams group chat. Give it a go and let me know how it went. Or, if you're already doing this, what else do you add?
