After our incredible donations last year we found out that The Salvation Army in Hornsby helped close to 1,000 people at Christmas with either food or toys! ... No-one can disagree that 2020 has been the hardest year yet. This year numerous homes and businesses were hit with the devastating bushfires that swept across the nation between December-January. In March, just as we all started to recover and rebuild, the unforeseen outbreak of COVID-19 was declared a world-wide pandemic. Needless to say, this is the biggest thing to happen to the world and while we are coming out the other side of it, it has affected us all. This year many families have experienced pay cuts, job losses, lost loved ones, had increased overwhelming stress due to accumulating bills and isolation. This year has been devastating for many Australians and The Salvation Army are expected to support more people than ever. Here is how you can help give a family hope and a Christmas filled with joy.
