24.01.2022 CHRISTMAS MEGA DRAW BRINGING CHEER TO THE LOCALS Isaac Regional Council is celebrating the festive season and local businesses in the Isaac region with a Christmas Mega Prize Draw. The Shop Isaac Christmas Mega Prize Draw launches on 1 December 2020 and finishes on 15 December 2020, with the major prizes being drawn on 17 December. Ten lucky shoppers will share in over $2000 in prizes to be won and will each receive a Shop Isaac Gift card, to spend locally. ... Isaac Regional Council Mayor Baker said the program is more than just your average ‘Buy Local’ campaign, and incorporates a loyalty gift card program, which will see money spent back in regional communities. The program includes gift cards which can only be redeemed at local businesses, tourist destinations and events who are part of Shop Isaac, Mayor Baker said. Shoppers are encouraged to buy local this Christmas and enter for their chance to win, by submitting their receipt and contact details to go in the draw. 18.01.2022 Two Central Queensland artists Wanda Bennett and Lalune Croker are set to teach Isaac residents on how to upcycle everyday crockery in Dysart and Nebo this week...end. Isaac Regional Council are encouraging locals to get involved and connect with like-minded people while re-purposing old teacups, plates, cutlery and more. The workshops are being held this Saturday 21 November 2020 at the Dysart Council Building and Sunday 22 November 2020 at the Nebo Memorial Hall from 10am to 3pm. Mayor Anne Baker said creativity connects and energises our regional communities, improving our health and wellbeing. As recent challenges have shown, our Isaac knows how to pull together in times of crisis, Mayor Baker said. 10.01.2022 St lawrence has had some wonderful visitors over the years and these lovely ladies have recently put a smile on our faces. Helen, Kath, Donna & Karen thank you for having your holiday in our area and bringing your special skills with you. It’s pretty special when you meet people that just love what they do and enjoy keeping historic traditions of harness driving going. There are harness clubs all over Qld so if you are interested , please look some of them up. But for now..., meet Helen & Kath in this short video. 02.01.2022 Last weekend we explored Isaac with the family a little more, headed to Theresa Creek Dam, it was lovely. Excellent facilities and a really great atmosphere.
