25.01.2022 Vixen Painters have been working hard on this extaordinary Cafe renovation out at One Tree Hill! This is the Da Vince Cafe (pronounced like the name Vince). The first 4 pictures is what we started with as our canvas and was built by Fredrico Constructions. The rest of the photos are what we did. We had the amazing opportunity to do some awesome decorative effects starting with a Suede effect ceiling, Zinc phosphate aging wall panels and metallic purple trim with clear coat si...lver glitter top coat. But what we are most proud of is our very first attempt at SIGNWRITING!! We are very proud of the result and the owners of the cafe are so pleased. They now will decorate the walls and gable with their own hand made concrete sculptures which will compliment our work even more. Cafe address: 88 Cross Hill Road, One Tree Hill and are open Tuesday to Friday to the public from 10:30am Weekends are for any formal private bookings such as birthday partys and high teas and weddings! Oh and the food is DELICIOUS!

25.01.2022 Insurance repairs is what we do alot of, particularly in character homes and heritage buildings. Insurance builders know to call us when painting repairs need doing in these kinds of places as it is what we specialise in! Here is an example if a water damaged ornate ceiling that we repaired today. Good as new now! and the home owner was really happy!

24.01.2022 Here are some before and after pictures of the restoration of the beautiful Eynesbury House of Couture in Kingston. Jacquie and i worked really hard at restoring this beautiful building using 6 different colours!

21.01.2022 So it was my apprentices 19th birthday the other day so i decided to print off his first major paint spill onto canvas so he can remember it forever! 15.01.2022 BIG THANKYOU TO THE PARADISE FIRE BRIGADE!!!! Last night our beloved Eclectus parrot "Joker" flew away in linear park at highbury. Today we searched the area and FOUND HIM! In the first photo you cant see him but hes actually all the way up in that tree. We ended up calling the fire brigade and they came and hosed him out!! Its a miracle that we found him today after a whole night out in the wild! Scarlett is so happy, these blokes really are her heros! ... We dropped by the station and gave them a carton of crownies. What legends!!! Made a little girl very happy indeed! See more

15.01.2022 This week we have been doing some more work around the Adelaide Zoo! One of our accomplishments was restoring this decking/seating area at the zoos entrance, also situated right infront of the hippos! We sanded the timber back on all the seats using powered sanders, revived the timber first, then pressure cleaned. Applied two coats of Wattles 2 in 1 one stain and varnish with 24 hours between coats. Then completed it with one coat of Marine Varnish in a high gloss finish. I...t looks so good and Vixen Painters are very proud of the result!! Does your deck beed restoring? Or do you have a brand new one that needs staining and varnish? If so please contact us!

14.01.2022 Here is the latest major project that Vixen painters have been working tirelessly on! Its a beautiful original Heritage listed property on flinders street in Kent town we have spent weeks bringing this baby to life. We have re coated everything multiple times and picked out all the details. So many hours of tedeous brush strokes and so much patience. This was such a challenge and one im up for again and again. I am so proud of my painters and myself. This job is now up for Best Heritage restoration and Best exterior repaint at this years Master Painters Awards. My amazing crew Andi Keil Kelly Jade King Ben Faulkner and Josh Wilkinson have worked so hard and im proud to call them Vixen Painters!

12.01.2022 MASTER PAINTERS AWARDS NIGHT! One person from each table had to get up and dance with the nights entertainment! Of course, as expected i was the one who had to go up! This was so fun! 09.01.2022 This is a video i have been making for the past couple of EXTREAMLY HIGH PRESSURE days at the houses we have been helping to renovate for the kids cancer foundation with MIX 102.3 and HOUSE RULES! I feel so warm and fuzzy about this. I love giving back doing what i can to contribute to the community and as it turns out so do SO MANY OTHERS! My company Vixen Painting & Decorating were one of 48 Companies that volunteered to help smash out this job in record speed. A total of ...100 tradies! Now there are 4 BEAUTIFUL fully furnished units avaliable to stay in at Prospect for the children and their families from rural areas who have cancer. What an amazing experience! Enjoy the video! 04.01.2022 Vixen painters have completed the painting at the Variety SA Childrens Charity building on Richmond road Keswick! Here are some before and after pictures of the job, we repainted most of the walls throughout and added a splash of their logo colour red here and there. We applied wallpaper to the reception area and open office area. Also the front facade has now been brightened up! Another job done well!

The over cast weather makes it hard to see the colours properly and i will post pictures when i have a nice sunny day as the sun really makes the gold paint (Porters Aquagild) sparkle and glimmer. Working with one of Adelaides best builders, Jeymarc Homes, has been such a great opportunity and we look forward to doing more great renovations like this one with them.
