10.01.2022 Hey all, we hope that you are all staying safe out there and getting some quality QSO's from the shack at home at the moment. Going forward, a few of the guys around our area have decided to run a friendly morning "Isolation Net" at 10am, on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays on VK3RYV. This is a good chance for anyone (everyone is welcome, member or not!) to check in, say g'day, have a friendly chin wag, and to touch base to let each other know if we need anything, while we try... to be responsible and stay at home as much as possible. 146.725MHz, no tone, on the club repeater up on Briarty Hill in the Yarra Valley. The repeater has great coverage, and can be accessed from a large amount of places over the Melbourne area. 73,

01.01.2022 Have a listen in/make some contacts with the old Radio Australia site up in Shepparton this weekend, with amateur operators taking over the sites large array of antennas before it is fully decommissioned. Truly a once in a lifetime chance for some contacts!
