18.01.2022 Holey dooley: Just got this update from FB today: "Effective October 1, 2020, section 3.2 of our Terms of Service will be updated to include: We also can remove or restrict access to your content, services or information if we determine that doing so is reasonably necessary to avoid or mitigate adverse legal or regulatory impacts to Facebook. Gimme a minute to figure out what this is all about, but Aussie marketers are flipping out. Undoubtedly about the proposed legislation re: news sharing. (ie:Goole Alert).

11.01.2022 I am so excited to show you what I've been working on for the last few months! I got to source and design this digital kiosk unit from start to finish from RetailMotion, and now Wellington Village are the proud owners of it. This will provide advertising opportunities to the tenants, the centre and their community passions (eventually!) DIRECTLY rather than through a large media company. In fact, what you'll see on it for the next few weeks has been designed by myself and S...andy from Nitty Gritty Graphics. Today I get to learn all about how it works and how to schedule our own content. Feeling pretty lucky to be part of an amazing small team at Wellington Village, and seeing my clients goals come to life in actual colour and movement.

01.01.2022 I finally got to meet this beauty that I helped design, since restrictions have been eased slightly! I have learned how to upload new content and how to utilise it's software to create site specific information (weather, clocks etc) and even how to have a split screen with 2 seperate content tiles if we wanted, although that's a bit much! What a fabulous initiative by Wellington Village- they own this unit and advertise what they want directly, rather than hiring space from... a big media outlet that could run ads for other shops/centres/locations. This means their advertising is bespoke, relevant and appropriate to the centre. What it also means is that small fry like me get to design and place content instead of a huge media team in a seperate location that perhaps have never been to the centre. The image you see here is by my teammate Sandy, from @Nitty Gritty Graphics. Designed and uploaded in hours instead of weeks, meaning centre communication is quick and time relevant to keep centre customers safe and informed. And it's darned good graphic design too!
