24.01.2022 Wishing one and all a very merry Christmas and a happy new year. I trust you all get something good from Santa. We will be closed from Monday 21st December till Monday 4th January. Outta here.....

19.01.2022 Something a little different for today, Honda XR350 engine components in for a re-furbish. These parts had already been vapour blasted when they arrived so only an hour or so to prime & paint, however add 3.5 hours for taping & detail work!

17.01.2022 Something "not on every street corner". At the risk of sounding conceited, damn I'm good!

17.01.2022 In all the years I was a Husaberg dealer I never got to ride an FC600. Picked this prime example up the other day & took her for a quick spin, well fu#k me, this thing set my arse hairs on fire! LOTS of raw power, she says hang on & means it. Just goes to show you don't need dual overhead cams, 5 valves or fuel injection to make truly exciting 4T power. One very cool Swedish muscle bike. I quickly discovered I'm no Joel Smets & am now off to purchase a testicle inflator.

14.01.2022 Another busy day on the end of some fine line tape & a spray gun. Color coats, pinlines, logos (all painted) & clear on a couple of Husky tanks. The burgundy tank is a 3 layer pearl, they're all time consuming but this one moreso. 1st coats of clear done, de-nib & a few more clear coats to go before final de-nib, buff & polish. Which is best, polished or brushed sides?

14.01.2022 Even though they are standard equipment on a lot of Swedish thoroughbreds, you just gotta love a set of Ohlins Shocks. Not only do they look "the business", they do "the business"!

14.01.2022 1974 Ossa Phantom coming together nicely. The major stuff is easy & generally able to be completed in a timely manner, however it is sooooo time consuming sorting all the little things......

12.01.2022 Might have to change the name to Husqvarna Land or something along those lines. One or two Swedish thoroughbreds here....

11.01.2022 Congratulations Michael Hughes for employee of the month! You are rewarded with a 3 day and night all expenses paid holiday to the sunny state Queensland

10.01.2022 Here we have a nice little 1975 GP250 (250CR). Looks to be a low hour bike & still has original Barum tyres from back in the day. Easy starter, runs & rides as it should. Tank has been painted & she's been fitted with new seat cover, plastics & Renthal vintage bend handle bars. These are super fun bikes with a lively engine, 6 speed transmission & are very competitive in the pre 1978 class. This one would make an excellent V1 class (pre 1976) vinduro bike (easy conversion) for next years Australian 3 day vinduro, as it has a Skyway silencer fitted & is very quiet. Or you could just look at it. First in with $5500 gets her.

06.01.2022 The daily grind.......

06.01.2022 A couple of Swedish glamours.

05.01.2022 1982.5 Silver Streak tank half done. Color coat, pinlines & logos done, however I've had enough taping/spraying for a bit now, surely there are more fun things to do on a Saturday? Clear coats begin next week.

04.01.2022 A little self isolation on a Sunday afternoon. The bush with the red berries & big arse thorns has to go, MX gloves mean nothing to it!

04.01.2022 A couple of Swedish steel hearts re-furbished & ready to make some noise. 1981 WR250 air cooled & a 1985 WRX400LC, now to re-unite them with their bodies....

03.01.2022 The big girl has had her first test run since getting a make over & some "tweaks". She looks better dirty & how good is seeing mud through translucent plastic.

03.01.2022 This '77 RM250B arrived yesterday for some love. Turns out I did this bike as race resto (non concors) approx 15 years ago, however it has sat under a sheet un-started since. Time has taken it's toll to a small degree with a bit of surface rust here & there & the current owner (third since reco) would like the tarnish sorted along with bringing the bike back somewhat closer to it's original (new) condition from 1977. The photo's with the beige background are current, those with the green background are from 15 or more years ago.

03.01.2022 A couple of pristine bikes I am listing for a valued client. Due to unfortunate circumstance, these 2 have now become available for sale: 1981 Husqvarna 240WR. This bike is immaculate with over $10K invested, has current Victorian recreational registration & was last ridden at the VERI vinduro at Tallarook. Nothing to spend, $7,650. 1968 Mk3 Bultaco Pursang 250, another immaculate bike, restored with new Mikuni carb & electronic ignition. Beautiful pre 1970 race bike, $5,750. Both bikes should be in my showroom by early next week after which I will be able to provide detailed photos. Get in quick as these two will not last. Ph: 0417394889 or email: [email protected] *** Bultaco sold pending payment. ***

02.01.2022 All done (finally) & ready to excite. Ya gotta love a Swedish blonde....
