22.01.2022 Were excited to announce that Vocal Evolution has been cast en masse to play the parts of the numerous policemen in Platinum Entertainment WA Pty Ltd's modernised take on the ever-popular Pirates of Penzance! More good news is that there is an opportunity for any men to join in with the chorus for this short but fun season. The songs are reasonably easy and according to Producer Trevor Patient, the more policemen we have, the merrier! Youd be committing to:... - Learn notes and words for the songs during December/January - Attend rehearsals from Jan 20 to March 8 - Attend around 12 dress rehearsals and performances from March 923 Theres a launch event happening on 8 December where the cast will sing through some of the songs and you can definitely get a taste of the production. 16.01.2022 Were excited to announce that Vocal Evolution will be recommencing in-person weekly rehearsals from Monday June 22 at 7.00 pm! Obviously well be adhering to strict conditions during rehearsals which we have outlined in our COVID-19 safety plan and of course its completely up to each individual member to decide for themselves if they feel its safe and appropriate for them to attend at this time. To keep our numbers manageable we wont be allowing any visitors to drop in t...o rehearsals unless they are looking to audition to sing with us. 12.01.2022 Thank you to The Newfangled Four for an amazing week in Perth! It has been 7 days since our concert and we are still riding that high. Their time in Perth was filled with workshops and education, including sessions with Vocal Evolution and The Baden Street Singers, who also conducted a youth workshop which culminated in a performance by the kids on-stage WITH The Newfangled Four! The time spent with them has been inspirational and we were privileged to be their tour guides ...and show them our beautiful city. Joey, Jackson, Jake, Ryan, you are more than welcome to visit us any time you like. Till we meet again. Who knows, maybe one day at the Barbershop Harmony Society International?
