14.01.2022 This is such an easy thing to do but it means so much to these brave souls...contact you local RFS station and ask what they need...things like wet wipes, lip b...alm, energy drinks like Hydralite are great, eye drops, non perishable foods like meusli bars ...even just some beers...let them know we care...they have such a hard job and need support...Cheers Paul See more
13.01.2022 If you enjoy what I do...or you don't..this is who you thank, or blame, for me being an entertainer...When I left school I was going to go straight into the Arm...y...but a mate talked me into going in a talent quest at Austral Bowling Club near Liverpool...so I did and I won the heat...The man running the entertainment at the club at the time in 1979 was "Country" Bob Browne and he took me under his wing and invited me to come along to his gigs and do a set...I had no car so it was buses and trains and sleeping on train stations as some of the gigs were a fair way from my home...he taught me so much and it has all stayed with me...I will never forget getting out to the clubs before everyone else and looking around as an innocent, unworldly kid and sitting the dressing room for hours before any of the band arrived just soaking it up...I have never lost that sense of wonder at this magical world we entertainers live in and have never become cynical or jaded...I love it as much as I did back then and appreciate everyone that is kind enough to come to the shows...Bob and I will be catching up for the first time since 1982 in the next couple of weeks and I will post a pic...His kindness and willingness to help young talent is the reason my life turned out the way it has...Bob is a great country singer and always had excellent bands...without him my life would be very different and nowhere near as good..Thanks mate...Paul See more
