14.01.2022 With the increased focus of government on building skills to support Australia’s growth, apprenticeships and an RTO’s relationship with employers are being supported with renewed vigour. Australian Apprenticeships operate on the basis of a formal Training Agreement between an employer and the Australian Apprentice. The Contract protects both the employer’s and the apprentice's interests. It outlines the employer's obligation to provide training, specifies the qualification t...o be achieved by the apprentice and explains their obligations to the apprentice. Australian Apprenticeships training can be on-the-job, off-the-job or a combination of both. The off-the-job training is delivered by a training provider who is registered in the State or Territory to provide nationally recognised training. The big challenge for both the Registered Training Organizations (RTO’s) is the management of these contracts, the government mandated communications requirements and ensuring that the training delivered meets both the apprentice’s and the employer's requirements. 13.01.2022 AVAXA announces a service to Victorian TAFEs for the analysis of claims made and payments received from the Skills Victoria Training System (SVTS) system. The purpose of this service is to assist with the resolution of errors, ensure that TAFEs are being paid correctly for the claims made each month and assist them to disburse revenues received from Skills Victoria to the relevant teaching departments.
