23.01.2022 Elated. After an age of sleep deprived preparations, I had the inaugural rehearsal for my SATB choir, 'Voces Coro Español'. I bravely led nine attendees into the first work, my own arrangement of 'El Adios'. Many of the members are new to singing with precision - a big challenge for them, and for me to bring everyone together to achieve a single sound. They worked so hard and focussed intensively; then all of a sudden the sounds came together, just like a lens coming into foc...us, and music filled the room. I felt like we were all draped in silk, ascending to sun gilt clouds. I'm encouraged and heartened, and so proud. A solid achievement for the first time together. Well done to everyone! Tito

10.01.2022 Hi Friends, What kind of music does 'Voces Spanish Choir' sing? To give you an idea of what we're currently working on, here's a piano version of my choral arrangement of the Sevillanas, 'El Adios'.... Why piano? The choir is still very new and very small, so I don't have enough singers yet to sample it with real voices. I'm looking for new members, so you might be interested in joining. My choir is open to non-Spanish speakers too.
