Some of the symptoms include: Jaw pain Swollen, tender or bleeding gums Bad breath Disco...mfort when opening mouth Unpleasant taste in the mouth However, wisdom teeth also can be impacted and show no symptoms. Remember, pain-free does not mean disease-free. Wisdom teeth should be checked annually. https://myoms.org//wisdom-teeth-man/impacted-wisdom-teeth/

07.01.2022 To our patients and referrers of VOFS. We would like to thank you all for your patience and support during the last few weeks of COVID-19, and the weeks to come. From the beginning we have implemented strict policies following direction from the Australian Dental Association and Health Department in both our Brighton and Mornington practices.... All measures are as follows: - Any staff member who has felt unwell, even with minor symptoms have been requested to stay home. - All patients with pending appointments have been contacted and triaged as to whether they have been experiencing any flu like symptoms, have travelled in the last two weeks or been in contact with anyone who has travelled in the last two weeks or has been diagnosed with COVID-19. - All consultations and treatment reviews will now be done via phone or video to stop unnecessary face to face contact. - We are only booking emergency procedures in our rooms. - All patients that are attending our practices must use hand sanitizer upon entry and exit- these are located in several areas of the waiting room and throughout both practices. - Patients are to advise the reception staff of their arrival and are required to wait in their car until we are ready for them to come in for their procedure, this is to avoid multiple patients in the waiting room. - All patients are required to use the provided Peroxyl mouth rinse immediately prior to any treatment. This has been shown to reduce viral and bacterial load in the mouth. - Reception staff are wearing a mask and gloves and wiping down all reception benchtops, computers, phones and eftpos terminals after every use. Our infection control remains of the highest standard. We are insuring all our staff are kept up to date with the latest COVID-19 information and training so that we can keep our patients well informed of any changes that may needs to be made. If you do have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to contact our rooms on (03) 9692-6445 . You can also email our rooms at [email protected] and our reception staff will get back to you as soon as possible. Another alternative to message us on any form of our social media, Facebook or Instagram @victorianoralsurgeons
