25.01.2022 Come along folks... support speaking up against the terror in NZ through song. We are going to be an eclectic group with a common cause - to raise awareness that tolerance respect is what we live by through song. Pop up song #1 ZOMBIE - new lyric sheet available on the website www.soundwaves.net.au - just print them out or view on your phone and come along! This time our vocal pop up will be a Fundraiser, a non compulsory donation of $10 (or more) will go towards the South West Bushfire Aid helping fire services, victims and wildlife! 19.01.2022 So this week Anouk recorded our national anthem and I harmonised with her at the end of the second verse. It was a first for us to record together - not sure wh...y it has taken us so long. The support and love was overwhelming , the shares and likes made us inspired to keep this going. Our dear talented friend Matthew Moyes helped out with the filming but ever so quickly (you should see what he really can do). But this was not about perfection, it was about standing proud of Australia and feeling immense gratitude of our beautiful southwest region, especially in these uncertain times. If you didnt get to watch it, please take a looksie and share if you too are proud to live in this paradise we are blessed to call home.

19.01.2022 SINGING LESSONS UPDATE Ive emailed all my students that online lessons will be available as of next week should lockdown happen or if you choose to self isolat...e. Ive looked into prepping for this for some time and now this has been addressed earlier. I hope and pray that my income doesnt turn to zero in these difficult times. Its a serious worry for us contractors in a field that may be the first to stop should a financial crisis arise. Well Im prepared and hope people embrace music as a healing and refreshing aid to cope with whats happening in the world. Lets be like the Italians:-) I look forward to your ongoing support and newbies welcome... adults, perhaps lockdown is time to let your voice be heard? 06.01.2022 Thanks to our VOICE IT #2 crew, singers and the fabulous Brendan, for another wonderful vocal get together. What a way to send good vibes out to all those affected by the fires. The $140 raised by our pop up will be part of the Bushfire Aid South West appeal. Thanks all cant wIt to hear the results- sounded great!!!

04.01.2022 Wow - thankyou to everyone who turned up to our first ever Vocal Pop Up today. You should all feel proud to have sung so powerfully together. Im so inspired and pumped up with love right now. 01.01.2022 Sometimes its good to VOICE IT. I believe through pop up song sessions we can start a conversation and spark unity with our community about making inclusiveness tolerance and respect everyday priorities. In response the the Christchurch shootings this idea sparked as I was teaching The Cranberries Zombie to a student. It dawned on me how powerful that song is against all forms of terrorism. So please join us for VOICE IT pop up #1 on 7th April. No rehearsing needed and No ...singing experience necessary.
