23.01.2022 Its the finer details that make our product knowledge superior... the MY14 Polestar grille is the same colour as the MY15 black cars whereas the other MY15s have a gloss black grille. The grille badge on a MY14 is also slightly different and there is no different part number for the complete grille which will make that badge ultra rare.

22.01.2022 When you remove an engine from a MY15 Polestar you need to trace 2 wires to the ECU that control the bi modal exhaust system. The better way is to cut them and make it a removable connector. Simple!!

21.01.2022 Another installment of spanner monkey mechanics.... let's cross thread the engine mount bolts into the alloy bracket that goes behind the cambelt.... then, as the bolt is too tight to get down far enough, we'll remove the bolt and rather than fitting it correctly, add a spring washer and a nut to use as a spacer and then install the bolt cross threaded again!!!! This is the reason many mechanics aren't trusted by people.

20.01.2022 When you come across some beautiful parts that are custom made for our cars, its worth buying even if the power gains are minimal as it allows further development for even better parts. The Elevate billet intake manifold with Titanium fasteners is a work of art and I cant wait to install my own... along with a few extra goodies!!! (Well.... when I have time.... hopefully in the next 6 months!)

10.01.2022 With more and more customers having digital credit cards on their phone and no physical card on them, our old terminal wasnt able to accept these payments. Today, we upgraded our eftpos machine with another benefit being the terminal is 4G so processing payments can happen anywhere there is phone coverage. It worked perfectly at home tonight where a customer collected their car so we look forward to flying interstate with the machine to test out more credit cards.... or people can still feel free to ring and donate money over the phone!!

10.01.2022 There was a delivery last week... a new rapid door that was ordered in November and was fitted and finalized today. It will greatly reduce thermal losses while massively helping with the ever increasing dust issues. The choice of rebel blue also signifies the best place for a Polestar!!

07.01.2022 Its funny when a parts interpreter at a dealer cant find unique parts... hopefully this new key for an S60R can be programmed by the same dealer after its sent interstate!! Its been cut to code and all ready to go.

03.01.2022 With the announcement today of a seatbelt recall on just about all models from 2007 onwards, Id suggest emailing Volvo Customer Care with your name, address and phone number along with your 17 digit VIN to [email protected] This will allow Volvo Australia to update your details and be in contact when parts are available.

02.01.2022 Its easy to tell if a car has never been to a Volvo workshop... this is the worst one Ive ever seen!! We keep the rebuild kits in stock as they all start leaking and its the reason your Volvo needs to be maintained by a specialist.

02.01.2022 If youve ever heard you should not buy a crashed car or written off vehicle then the people making those statements obviously havent bought a car from here!!! While many others arent correctly repaired, here are 2 examples of cars weve done OVER 20 years ago!!!! they even pre date the WOVR with the wagon fixed last century. There is no better place to purchase a Volvo or have one looked after.
