21.01.2022 We need better disabilty access at Ipswich train stations. Currently the train height and the train station height do not match. A ramp is available but not at all stations. Council needs to talk to QR to get this situation resolved. #betterdisabiltyaccess #vote1blakedivision4 https://t.co///ShaneBl11386867/status/1237259822652743680

17.01.2022 ECQ have banned us from polling booths and from active campaigning. So time to catch up with fellow division 4 candidates Russell Milligan and Kate Kunzlemann for a cuppa.

12.01.2022 Helping out the Rural Fire Service by getting dunked.

10.01.2022 Good luck to all candidates.

08.01.2022 There are a lot of nervous, anxious people at the moment. Some of us don't know whether we'll have a job next week and how we will pay our bills for the next month. But please remember the person standing 2 meters away from you in line at the shops is probably just as anxious as you are, if we all remember our manners and treat each other with respect we can get through this. If you worried about crowds on Saturday for voting, prepolling stations are open all this week including until 9pm on Wed and Thurs. If you can't get to a prepolling station, you can call 1300 912 782 and do a phone vote.

07.01.2022 After Corona Virus Shane Blake, division 4 candidate With country wide shutdowns and unemployment expected to reach 30% there are tough times ahead for Australia, the new Ipswich City Council will have to start planning straight away to help Ipswich recover from the effects of COVID19.... My plan to help Ipswich recover will be to fast-track small to medium community infrastructure projects to get more people back into work faster and money back into the Ipswich economy. Using local contractors these community projects could include; fixing the roundabouts on Mt Crosby Rd, building the men’s shed/community centre in Karalee, upgrading the Rosewood swimming pool and road upgrades in Pine Mountain. I would also want traineeships for youth and people with disabilities to get them qualified and back into work. I would encourage all community and sporting groups to put forward proposals that could be included in these infrastructure projects. This will be the new Ipswich City Council, we need a fresh start with new ideas and planning that looks to the future.

06.01.2022 Prepolling is now open, let the madness begin. Good luck everyone.

04.01.2022 Can I ask your thoughts & comments for Tourism in Ipswich as I haven't heard any one raise the issue as destination, especially with this current economic environment.

03.01.2022 This is a section of Karrabin-Rosewood Rd, this road has become so deteriorated that ambulance crews from Rosewood will avoid using this road if they have a patient on board. This road needs to be fixed immediately. #fixipswichroads #vote1blakedivision4

02.01.2022 Thanks to a couple of self centered morons covid-19 is spreading through SE Qld, time for the state government to make facemasks compulsory in areas where the infection is spreading.
