06.01.2022 The second edition of the Self Defence technique workshop in Blitz magazine featuring our school is in stores today. In this scenario theres two attackers one from the front and one from the side. Thanks again to the editor Ben Stone for approaching me to do this article exposing the effective and very dynamic defensive and attacking techniques ITF Taekwondo offers. Third and final installment for this series is out in February. (Photo number 3 has a misprint in the explanation below it, it should say "reverse arc hand strike to the throat-adams apple section of the throat" ).

Thanks to my father Con Vouvaris and my uncle a Paschali Karadimos early pioneers of Taekwondo who Ive learnt from much more than just Taekwondo but having an indomitable spirit in life, forever indebted . Thank you to Master Michael Muleta for teaching the importance of patience, attention to detail and his ongoing support all the through this journey , I appreciate everything you have said and done with m...e so far and looking forward to the future in Taekwondo . Thank you to Master Rua Kaiou who attended today and gave me valuable tips on finessing my movements to perfection. Thank you to Mr Anthony Palmer who helped me with my patterns for many months at the ITF centre of excellence and focused on improving my patterns.Last but not least thank you to Mr. James Grigoropoulos my long time 2nd degree student who helped me with pre arranged and self defence today. Im very happy to be promoted to 5th degree with the respect of my peers. See you all soon for more training !
