24.01.2022 RACE REPORT. Yesterday was Round 6 of the IRC Off Road 2020 Club Series. In EP8, team driver Peter Coombs dominated the field taking TQ and winning all 3 x 10min finals. Peter's tire of choice was the AXEMAN EVO and GRIPZ EVO.... In Nitro Buggy, team drivers Kev Lewis, Mitchell Scott and Theo Assa were all at the top of the field with some extremely close qualifying. Mitchell took TQ from Kev by two tenths of a second. In the A-Main final, Mitchell had engine issues and ran out of fuel, dropping him back to 5th position. Kev drove home strong to take 1st place, Theo finishing 3rd and Mitchell drove back to 4th position. Tires of choice for the Nitro drivers were GRIPZ EVO. Once again VP PRO drivers dominating the field in all classes.

23.01.2022 First race back since COVID-19 lockdown. With restrictions slowly being relaxed in Australia I was excited to be back out racing so a last minute decision to make the 3hr drive to CORMCC club at Australia's Capital City Canberra. As usual the folks there ran a fantastic program and preped an amazing track. This would be first time running VP PRO tires at this track so it also served as a test day to figure out what worked. With qualifying I was pretty happy on how I drove con...sidering its been a long time since we raced and I qualified 2nd overall. For finals we ran triple 7 min A main races counting your best 2. I ran 808 Cactus in M4 for the 1st leg and was able to take the win by the slimmest of margin of 0.12secs.....super close race heart pumping adrenalin rushes but also mad fun. Leg 2 I ran rain 811 rain master in M3 as the track had grooved and felt the cactus had too much grip in the corners and almost traction rolled a few times, was able to take the win again securing the overall win for the day. Extremely happy with how my equipment performed and VP PRO tires was on point. See more

22.01.2022 Today was Round 2 of the IRC Off Road Club Series for 2021. It was a perfect day for racing with the temperature hovering around 25C, a slight breeze and the sun out. Team drivers Mitchell Scott and Theo Assa were in attendance. Q1 started off horribly for Mitch with a clutch issue forcing him out early. Theo started brilliantly taking 1st place.... Mitch once again suffered issues in Q2 pushing him to the bottom of the pack. Theo finished strongly once again with a P2 position in Q2. In Q3 Mitch finally had the gremlins sorted out and took the win. Theo finished in 3rd position. Q4 (final round); Mitch once again took the win. Unfortunately, Theo had a receiver battery issue forcing him out of the race early. After all racers dropped their worst qualifier to seed into finals, Theo started 2nd and Mitch 3rd for the finals. Due to lower numbers, finals were ran as 3 x 7min finals. After all finals were completed, Mitch took the overall win with Theo finishing in 2nd place. Some brilliant and close racing was had. Another 1st and 2nd podium for VP Pro Aus Team Drivers here in Australia. Tires of choice for the day/track conditions were VP PRO GRIPZ EVO and VP PRO TURBO TRAX EVO.

21.01.2022 Team driver Ryan Holbrow's buggy from this weekends Australian Nationals in Melbourne, Australia. Also managing to take out the concourse win! Well done Ryan and great driving this weekend!

19.01.2022 Yesterday three of our team drivers made the road trip to Canberra for Round 1 of their 2021 series. Tire choice was a mixed bag throughout the day due to ever changing track conditions. The track was initially loose and slippery with some wet spots from previous days rain. However, as the day went on, the track developed a slight groove and grip levels increased. VP PRO Gripz/Axeman (M3 compound) were the choice of tire initially, with VP PRO Turbo Trax (M3) becoming... the go to tire in the finals. Turbo Trax tires provided brilliant grip and wear characteristics, still looking like new after the finals - see photos below! VP PRO drivers took a clean podium sweep in the Nitro finals with Mitchell Scott taking 1st place, Theo Assa taking 2nd place and Lhor C taking 3rd place. Team drivers Mitchell & Theo were also running the VP PRO adjustable 4 shoe clutch on their engines, along with VP PRO bodies. Once again VP PRO drivers dominating the field here in the Nation's Capital! 16.01.2022 **RACE REPORT** Yesterday was the final round of the IRC Off Road Club Series for 2020. Team VP-PRO were on fire all day. The track conditions changed throughout the day from a hard packed dusty track early on to a grooved line later on in the finals. As usual, the VP-PRO GRIPZ were the go-to tire for majority of team drivers, although, some opted for the AXEMAN EVO and TURBO TRAX tires depending on where their race sat in relation to the watering schedule. In EP8, VP PRO tea...m driver Peter Coombs took the win after some seriously close racing in the 3 x 10min finals. Peter managed to take the win in two of the finals, securing the overall win for the day. In Nitro Buggy, team driver(s) Mitchell Scott took 1st position, and Kev Lewis took 2nd position. After having some issues throughout the race and losing track time to fix the issues, team boss Theo Assa and Lhor C finished 7th and 8th respectively. Being the final round of the 2020 Club Series, the IRC Off Road 2020 Club Championship presentation was also held. In EP8, VP PRO team driver Peter Coombs took a convincing win over the field. In Nitro Buggy, it was a VP PRO clean sweep - all top 3 positions being won by VP PRO team drivers. Well done to Mitchell Scott (1st), Theo Assa (2nd) and Lhor C (3rd) for their hard work and consistency over the 2020 year. Well deserved to all drivers for their efforts. Well done to all VP PRO team drivers, once again showing the field that VP PRO is the best in the business.

15.01.2022 **Race Report - IRC Off Road 2020 Round 1** Typical Australian weather - from bush fires to flooding we finally got a break in the weather and ran our first race of 2020, and what a great day it was! The IRC club did a fantastic job as usual prepping the track and running the races, especially considering the recent weather we have had.... Due to the recent rain and lack of racing the track developed a lot of character, however, even with the tough track conditions, the VP Pro team was able to secure TQ for both 1/8 EP Buggy and 1/8 Nitro Buggy. In EP Buggy, SOAR Speedbull driver Peter Coombs dominated the field all day taking TQ and winning all 3 x 7min finals comfortably with his SOAR TD1R.2E buggy on VP Pro rubber. In Nitro Buggy, VP Pro drivers secured all top places. Young gun SOAR Speedbull driver Mitchell Scott managed to secure TQ during qualifying, finishing in 2nd position with his SOAR TD1R.2. Kev Lewis brought home the win with a dominant performance in the finals and SOAR Speedbull Team Manager Theo Assa rounded out the podium in 3rd position. Special shout out to VP Pro and SOAR Speedbull team driver Ryan Holbrow who finished in 5th - VP Pro making up 4 of the top 5 positions. All nitro drivers opting to run with the VP Pro Axeman Evo tyre in the mains. Check out the tyre wear in the pictures below after almost two hours run time.... Amazing!

Of the VP PRO Team Drivers, Kev lewis finished 2nd, Mitchell Scott finished 3rd, Theo Assa finished 5th and Ryan Holbrow finished 7th.... 12.01.2022 Orange BIG BASH Race report We made our way to Orange for the annual Orange Big Bash event, unfortunately the turn out wasn’t as big as last years’ due to clashing of other events and the recent covid situation. I recommend and encourage anyone thinking of going next year to lock it in once dates are set, the track, facilities and the club are just awesome. The crew at #ORCCC did an amazing job with the track and built a fun and challenging one, If I remember correctly 4 diff...erent surfaces with astro turf, molasses, oiled and regular clay. My Soar TD1r.2 Buggy was on point, the new VPPRO Gripz were perfect on the multi surface track and I took the TQ and Win for the weekend with fast local Nathen Brooks in 2nd keeping me honest also running VP PRO tires. Below pics of the VPPRO M3 Gripz tires after 5 round of Qualify and a 3 x 10min A mainstill looking good. Thanks to the #ORCCC crew at Orange for hosting the event and will see you again next time. Massive thanks to Ben McDougal and family for the hospitality and taking care of us. Also a Big thankyou to Wayne Johnstone for driving us there and the awesome pit stops. #soarspeedbull #VPPRO #pistoldesigns

06.01.2022 VP PRO taking out TQ, 1st and 2nd in the EP class as well. What fantastic start to the 2021 race season at IRC. Race report from our EP team. Pete Coombs:... "We had such a great day yesterday for round one of the iRC offroad season, very hot and dry conditions kept the track condition interesting while we desperately tryed to keep the moisture in the clay by watering every second run. But the track held together great and there was some epic racing in the ep8 class with alot of close battle and fast guys stepping up and pushing hard. I Qualified in position 2 in my SOAR Td1rE.2 for the finals narrowly getting pipped by fellow VP-PRO driver Nathan Tanti. We had some incredible races in the heats with lots of clean passing and close racing. In the finals i placed 2nd, 1st, 2nd giving me 2nd place over all for the day, so pumped to have had a good result with the quality of driver that we had at the track yesterday, Monty Nguyen (3rd) was crazy fast all day taking fastest lap, also Matt Seckold, Len Cowan and Corey Ellis all put in great drives to finish in their respective places. I found the VP-Pro Axeman in m3 was perfect for me in the rough and hot conditions, a very forgiving tyre with very low wear throughout the day. Thanks to everyone at iRC offroad for the fantastic days racing, also a huge thankyou to Theo Assa at Soar Speedbull Australia and VP-Pro Australia for all the continued support. #SOAR #Speedbull #VPpro Nathan Tanti: "Whoo. That's TQ and the Win at IRC. WRC SBXE.1 was on it today across a wide array of track surfaces. Had heaps of fun racing and navigated the blown out sections of track as the day went on. VP Pro Gripz were well balanced providing consistent grip without hooking into ruts unsettling the car, performance was great in both the wet and dry. Thanks to the IRC for running this event. Very smooth and a great bunch of guys. Thanks to Essential RC Pty Ltd for the continued support. #essentialrc #WRC #vpro"

04.01.2022 A few weeks ago drivers from the Australian VP Team attended the Big Bash at Orange, NSW.
