23.01.2022 As she reflects on the last 12 months, Mrs Hurley talks about the kindness and commitment of the thousands of volunteers that she has met. "There are so many pe...ople, ansd so many of them are volunteers, who are out there with a variety of causes. "... every single volunteer that I meet, they're not a volunteer and they're not working for an organisation because they want a medal. They're working for an organiation that they really believe in, and they love and they want to make a difference. "I think that encompasses the kindness and caring. I think that we have many, many, many Australians that are doing that on a daily basis." #KindJuly

03.01.2022 Whilst we praise all the emergency services personnel who attended last nights MVA. The Junee Volunteer Rescue Squad would like to acknowledge and commend the two young local guys who were not only first on scene, to not only find the occupant still in the vehicle to then realise it is one of good your mates!!! You both stayed calm whilst ensuring the patient was conscious and coherent and stayed with him until further help arrived you both should be proud of yourselves. Trent Clarke and Jack Passlow

03.01.2022 Big shout out to and thank you to all the medical staff from Doctors, Nurses right down to the kitchen staff

03.01.2022 Emergency services attend these incidents as do alot of other support agencies and services. From tow truck drivers who are often first on the scene, government contractors to traffic controllers and utility services personnel. One tragic incident can affect so many people.

01.01.2022 Triple Zero Calls: New government technology is allowing emergency service authorities to pinpoint exact locations of where people need assistance. Previously ...emergency service towers had to use pinging mobile phone towers to triangulate the position of an emergency. Minister for Communications Paul Fletcher was in Alexandria for the launch of 'Advanced Mobile Locations' (AML). "When you call 000 your location within metres will automatically be sent to fire, police or ambulance. Advanced mobile location (AML) is now enabled on iPhones & Android phones; if you call 000 your location within metres is automatically sent to fire, police or ambulance." www.7NEWS.com.au #TripleZero #7NEWS
