23.01.2022 The Timely application deadline is fast approaching - 5pm Wednesday 30 September. What happens after this time? Firstly, you can still apply afterwards, but with the application fee increasing to $119, it's going to cost you a lot more. Some courses have early application deadlines to manage their interview/audition/portfolio presentation processes. Check out our list to see if any of your preferences need to be submitted early: https://vtac.edu.au/early-close... Lastly, if you're a non-Year 12 applicant hoping for a November offer, you need to apply and submit any necessary documentation by this time. Submit your application now to minimise your fees and to avoid the stress of a last minute submission.

23.01.2022 Have you submitted your SEAS and/or VTAC Scholarships applications yet? The deadline is almost upon us - 5pm this Friday (09/10). The website will experience heavy traffic on Friday, so neither application - or the submission of supporting evidence - should be left until the last minute. Organise yourself and submit everything early to ensure you don't miss out.

22.01.2022 Where are your go-to resources for course information? What information do you consider most important? Is it pathways, fees, possibly entry requirements? We'd love to get your feedback on these questions and a couple more. Our survey will only take you a couple of minutes and will help us better the provision of course information for future applicants and schools. 19.01.2022 February round 1 offers are released today! Offers will be emailed progressively and in random order until 2pm, at which point they will become available in your VTAC account under the 'Course Offers' tab. Good luck!

14.01.2022 SEAS and VTAC Scholarships applications are due 5pm Friday 9 October. That's next week. If you need to apply for either application and haven't yet started, you should do so ASAP. ... Do not risk jeopardising the help both applications offer by leaving everything until the last minute. If you're in the process of collecting your evidence and are not sure how to submit it to VTAC, our video takes you through your options. For more information on statements of support visit our website at https://vtac.edu.au/support Or download our fact sheet, designed to help your health practitioner and/or responsible person write their statement by explaining the application and outlining the requirements: https://www.vtac.edu.au//providing_a_statement_of_support.

10.01.2022 SEAS and VTAC Scholarships applications close today. If you haven't done so already, finalise your application(s) and submit your supporting evidence by 5pm.

10.01.2022 What can you do after tomorrow's Timely Application deadline? The main items: 1. You can still apply - but at $119, it will cost you more. 2. You can change your preferences - this includes adding, removing and changing the order of your list. There is a small list of courses that cannot be added as preferences after the 30th and are linked to below.... 3. Pay your application fee. The fee is determined by when you first submit your application and not when you actually pay. So if you're a 2020 Year 12 and you submit your application today, you will lock in the $41 amount and it will not go up after tomorrow's deadline. You have until December to make that payment. If you apply after 5pm tomorrow, your fee will be $119. Non-Year 12s hoping for a November offer should apply by tomorrow's deadline and pay by 5pm 4 November. 4. Submit results documentation (mostly relevant for non-Year 12 applicants). So, if you're intending on applying for 2021 courses, apply now to minimise your application processing fee. 07.01.2022 Need to change your preferences for the next round of offers (released next Monday 8 Feb)? Your next opportunity will be 10am - 4pm tomorrow (2 Feb). If you've already received an offer make sure that any course that interests you goes above what you've been offered as lower courses will not be considered.

06.01.2022 What happens now that January offers have been released? If you have not received an offer, your application will automatically be considered for the next round of offers, released on 1 February. You may wish to speak to your chosen institution for advice on back-up options and pathway courses to add to your preference list. If you received an offer, congratulations! Enrolment instructions will soon be emailed to you directly from the institution (if they haven't already). If... you don’t receive this email within a couple of days, contact them and not VTAC. It is a good idea to accept your offer so you don’t lose the opportunity. If you don’t accept, your offer will expire on the deadline specified in your enrolment instructions and your position will be given to somebody else. Regardless of whether you accept yesterday’s offer or not, you will be eligible for offers from courses that are listed higher on your preference list in the next offer round. To clarify, accepting a January offer will have zero impact on your eligibility for offers from your higher preferences in February. Change of preference has reopened for you to make any necessary adjustments to your list, meaning that you can add, remove or change the order of your preferences. Changes must be finalised by 12pm Thursday 21 January. Any course that you want to be considered for needs to be placed above what you have already been offered.

05.01.2022 Need to change your preferences for the next round of offers? You have until 12 midday tomorrow, Thursday 21 January to do so. Offers are next released 2pm Monday 1 February. Remember, any course you want to be considered for needs to be placed above what you've already been offered on your preference list.... Good luck!

01.01.2022 The main difference between submitting your application before 5pm today (30/09) and afterwards? The processing fee increases to $119. If you've been delaying because you're not sure what to apply for, don't worry - you can still change your preferences after today. Submit your application now, lock in the lower fee and if you need to change preferences tomorrow, or next week, you can.
