Both The Commons and Pawa were so generous in making this event truly special. ~ We are stoked by the energy from the launch and the feedback from the magazine and website!!!! Thanks to everyone who has downloaded a copy or picked one up in the physical world! ~ A special collaboration between @startupvictoria and @victoriauniversity is now out in the world!

16.01.2022 In this together the important and timely theme for Reconciliation Week 2020. . . . @reconciliationaus In this together is now resonating in ways we could not have foreseen when we announced it last year, but it reminds us whether in a crisis or in reconciliation we are all in this together.... Reconciliation is a journey for all Australians as individuals, families, communities, organisations and importantly as a nation. At the heart of this journey are relationships between the broader Australian community and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. We all have a role to play when it comes to reconciliation, and in playing our part we collectively build relationships and communities that value Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, histories, cultures, and futures. . . . VU Innovations acknowledges the Ancestors, Elders and families of the Boonwurrung, Woiwurrung (Wurundjeri) and Wathaurung (Wadawurrung) on our Melbourne Campuses, and the Gadigal and Guring-gai people of the Eora Nation on our Sydney campus. These groups are the custodians of University land and have been for many centuries. As we share our own knowledge practices within the University may we pay respect to the deep knowledge embedded within the Aboriginal community and their ownership of Country. . . . #inthistogether2020 #nrw2020

02.01.2022 Talking of Adaptation as @hannahblairgee and @thomasanbeek are here - the Economic Development crew @cityofmeltonofficial worked closely with VU Innovations to take their whole Venture Melton offering online in less than two weeks! That was about 7 weeks ago at the start of lockdown. We partnered with them to take business support workshops, mentoring, webinars and community online. Oh and it’s wrapped up in a pretty rad website. We’ve loved building and delivering stuff that... really matters for the business community in Melton. . . .
