25.01.2022 The club has decided to move flag football to Monday nights at 6:00pm for the foreseeable future. We will also be running a proper competition starting on the 7th September for 12 weeks with the winning team receiving a cash prize for winning the season. So contact the page if you would like to register your team. Time from tomorrow until the start of the competition you can use to practise in our social competition.

20.01.2022 WE WANT YOU!!! That's right, our competition is still going ahead. Season starts September 26, 2020. Preseason starts July 13, 2020. Valleys Rugby League Field, Pillar st. 6:30pm start. 13.01.2022 Gridiron Queensland are pleased to announce that we will be RETURNING TO PLAY IN 2020 and will be having a season in both our the South East Queensland and Nort...h Queensland competitions. Our Clubs will be returning to contact training at "Stage 3" on the 10th of July 2020. SEQ will be running a shortened 8 game season over 10 weeks with the first games kicking off on the 26th of September 2020 and finishing on the 28th of November 2020. Unfortunately we will not be having playoffs or the SUNBOWL this year. NQ will run their season as per usual starting on the 31st of October 2020 with the normal 4 week break for the Christmas/New Year period, and recommencing in the second week of January and finishing the season for the highly contested REEFBOWL in mid March 2021. For the safety and well being of our members and guests, and as required by Queensland Health and the Office of Sport and Recreation, all of our Clubs will be operating under strict COVID SAFE PLANS, which include Social Distancing, a Contact Tracing Register, Hand Sanitiser Stations, Good Hygiene Practices, and Restricting the number of people permitted to no more than 100. 09.01.2022 UPDATE FROM GRIDIRON QUEENSLAND regarding COVID-19 ,RESTRICTIONS and the 2020 SEASON. Gridiron Queensland and its affiliated Clubs are watching restrictions a...nd the situation in regard to Local Sport extremely closely , we are receiving updates from all relevant Government Departments in regard to all things related to the above and as of yet there has been no change with all restrictions in regard to local competition/gatherings still in place for the foreseeable future. We are working closely with all our Affiliated Clubs and GA in regard to different scenarios for the 2020 Season . As we progress forward GQ will keep updating information to Members and Clubs when it becomes available . 04.01.2022 WANT TO PLAY GRIDION?? We’ve been given a green light to start training from June 12, so long as we stay within the state government’s COVID-19 guidelines. We are looking at taking an expression of interest from the community if you would like to play this season. Teams are Juniors(14-16), Colts(17-19), Men’s(20+) and Women’s(20+). Women under 20 years old are eligible to play in the Juniors and Colts teams....
