23.01.2022 The Heather Champness Memorial Salver 4 Person Team v Par has been cancelled for 2020. Last year this event was a great success and it would have been a fun event for the end of this year as well.

13.01.2022 What we thought would happen , has happened today! The VWGA Metropolitan Championships at Cronulla Golf Club have been cancelled. Enjoy the memories of the event held in 2019. Your Committee is working on the program for 2021 and details will be sent to Delegates when completed. Let’s hope that 2021 will be a better year for all of us!

10.01.2022 As the end of 2020 fast approaches, VWGA would like to thank you for your support and understanding during what can only be described as a most unusual year for all of us. VWGA has faced many challenges this year with many of our events being cancelled. What has been some of the more positive aspects of 2020. We got to play at our own clubs from April 2020. Health care and essential workers became our heroes... People got creative and musicians took to social media We were encouraged to shop local Regional holidays provide opportunities for golf games VWGA celebrated 70 years but has now been postponed to 2021 Coronavirus vaccine has begun rolling out around the world
