22.01.2022 Public Health Restrictions are easing and we can see a glimpse of our next Vybz Fridays on the horizon! BUT the first post-covid Vybz Fridays is determined to help make a change. Join Vybz Entertainment at MonkeyBAR for the ultimate Afro-Caribbean Takeover and DANCE FOR A DIFFERENCE! As a black-owned business that was founded to celebrate and promote black culture, style, music and creativity, Vybz Entertainment stands in solidarity with Black and Indigenous communities acro...ss the globe, mourn the many lives lost too soon, and actively stand against racism and oppression. The last few weeks have been promising as we see our communities and allies across the world band together to have their voices heard, and we want to contribute to ensuring this recent MOMENT of activism remains a MOVEMENT! ALL profits made from Vybz Fridays' ticket sales will be donated to the #blacklivesmatter movement, both in the United States, and here on our own home soil. Proceeds will be split 50/50 between Black Lives Matter and ANTaR National in an effort to support the fight for justice and equality, end oppression and eradicate racism! Watch out for further details to come, share with your community and come together to DANCE FOR A DIFFERENCE!

20.01.2022 We're missing Fridays like this!! Who can't wait for Afro-Caribbean Music to light up Canberra again?!

01.01.2022 #blackouttuesday BLACK LIVES MATTER. Not just today, not just this week, not just while headlines and airwaves highlight the issue. ALWAYS. We stand heartbroken. This must stop. We are stronger together.... As a black business that exists solely for the purpose of celebrating black music, black culture, black creativity and black talent, we stand fully with the black community in the US and right here in Australia, as the battle to end systemic racism continues and the fight for justice reigns. To our non black followers: we encourage you to use your platforms to amplify the voices that need to be heard. We ask you to listen, unlearn, relearn. Have uncomfortable conversations, challenge your own prejudices, acknowledge and empathise with a different perspective - a black perspective. Ask questions, do your research, and use your voice to amplify the messages of the unheard. Together we can make a change. We need to. Enough is Enough.
