21.01.2022 Water damage to Eves - Part One Sometimes renovations are not all pretty-ing up a space. today we are working on eves... the space under the roof before the brickwork that no one really notices till theres a problem.... Have you checked yours ?? ... have you got black mold forming ... especially around the gutter. In the next couple of days we' ll uncover the issues and ... save the day

19.01.2022 We've been told you're enjoying this series ... answers to a your qestions..... Damage to eves/facia /gutters - Part Four. decide to sand gutter and facia prime the exposed areas... Questions to ask/things to consider before deciding ... to re paint/ repair or replace A/ how many layers of paint ???... this job takes a long time B/ how deep does the rust extend?? C/ cost of sander, rust inhibitor, primer, and paint v's new replacement D/ Time So far ... the decision to sand has gone well. One small repair needed... Paint came away well... wish we'd taken photos of us ... we looked hysterical!

13.01.2022 Water damage to eves - Part Three. establish reason for damage rectify / repair down pipes and joints etc replace fully damaged and stained hardi board ... So the quick solution is to simply take down a replace the guttering and facia with new. But this house built in 1989 has an obsolete profile. Having had a peek...we've spotted its only surface rust ... so a sanding we will go

06.01.2022 So what we been up to this week? Sorry no pictures ... hey we were busy Finished that ceiling as promised Maintenance job at a shopping centre. Demolition of a bathroom for reno (as apposed to fun... but its always fun )... Put up a new timber stud wall It's the variety that keeps things fresh. Paver Driveway today ... hopefully pictures later... Have a good Sunday whatever you have planned
