25.01.2022 My daughter once said "there is nothing good about a doily" I think I may have changed that! Add a layer of super fine merino wool to the back and you have a beautifully soft lacy scarf. I also made one with long threads of coloured silk. Going to have to get more wool!!!

24.01.2022 Very excited to have just unwrapped my latest shawl. It's huge 2200 x700, so incredibly soft and the colours and smell of the eucalyptus are so gorgeous. Can't wait for it to dry so I can wrap myself in it.

24.01.2022 New creations on the way. I have found several new trees that are providing amazing results. Pictures to follow soon! #ecodye #zenziwear

24.01.2022 Finished a merino felted wrap last week. I'm very happy with the eucalyptus eco print. I am still amazed by the vibrant colours you can get. Just takes about five hours of steaming. Love the smell, great for the sinuses!

22.01.2022 In the process of making a felted wrap using merino with alpaca decoration. Amazingly soft to the touch. Just what chilly weather needs!!

16.01.2022 Experimenting with rose petals, mint and frozen berries . The result was a soft shimmery print. Plan to do more with rose as the colours are gorgeous. Even smell the perfume on the silk after printing.

10.01.2022 Here is a sample of the new cushions. Various sizes and very soft to the touch. The silk fibres came from Nepal and have beautiful colours.

09.01.2022 After searching for just the right plant material the fun starts with laying out ,wrapping and steaming. I'm cooking outside until I can get my studio sorted. Can't wait to get cooking on my wood stove!!

08.01.2022 Just starting to unwrap the latest pot of eco dyed silk. Used eucalyptus from local trees. Prints are looking good. I will post more pictures when I have them set. Very exciting.

05.01.2022 Started a new shawl using merino and alpaca on a muslin base. Just 2000 rolls to go and it should be finished.Cant wait to see how it turns out.

02.01.2022 Back from the coast and keen to get back to work. Didn't get much seaweed due to my daughters delightful dog eating it!! Decided to make some small felt pouches with printed designs and have also been working on felt and silk cushions. Great to be home in chilly Woolbrook.

01.01.2022 Sorry no photos of new work this week. I've gone to the coast to find seaweed for my next dyeing project. Will update as soon as I get back!!
